Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)

#981 Post by damo666 » Thu Apr 10, 2025 10:27 am

There has been some discussion about my late vote switch to red.

I moved off dip because he moved off mimi as I had said I would and also had as a by product the benefit of making a tie unlikely (even an accidental one).

I didn't want to vote any of the major wagons and in particular didn't want to vote ND because a) I didn't think he was scum & b) I think some of his voters were motivated by out of game reasons and I strongly think this is against the spirit of the game and was a way of registering my protest.

Picking Red to switch to was inconsequential.

You seemed very different the game where I was scum with Just and you were town.
i hosted the game you were scum with will in

are you maybe getting me confused with someone else?
Ah.

No. I remembered being able to townread you the game we played. I was worried my memory was bad at that I townread you because I was scum. Which means less. But I was town with you….did I die early?

Not having a huge number of reads rn isn't exactly unexpected despite the number of wolves in game but is unfortunate, yes.
You haven't told us whether you've played before.
Yes he did, he told us he had played on MU etc.

^ @Bunny what was your reaction to this post? ^
found a question.

I don't understand the question.

But in general I think you and D&W play this game very VERY differently and seem incapable of considering what the other means when they say a thing.
@Bunny -

The question is as follows:

On page 10, D&W suggested a "gamesolve" in which he set out a Mafia team which contained both you (Bunny) and me (Jamie).

On page 28, which was over 24 hours after page 10, D&W made a new post in which he claimed "new analysis" showed that you and I were team-mates, but he was "too busy" to explain that analysis.

I responded to say that the post on page 28 was rather scummy as it gave the impression, to me, that D&W was trying to pass off his old scumread as if it was some kind of new insight, suggesting he had done new research but actually just parroting his early game read.

I am asking you, Bunny, what your view is? This involves an accusation being made against you, so I would expect you to have an opinion about it. Please and thankyou.
I don’t care about an individual sounding out their opinion of me. People SHOULD waffle about it; especially early game.

I don’t understand how D&W plays/talks very well (see: massive number of miskills of D&W I've participated in).

I’m starting to think this is just how he expresses his thoughts. Like brainbomb or something.

If you're serious, I will change my order, and gift my hot potato to you instead of Bunny, who is the currently programmed recipient.

Confirm?
my first choice for potato was ND!

So it went to my second choice...
Are you saying that one of my new potatoes was a gift from Bunny's farm?
Nope!

Changed my order…

It doesn't bother you that he claimed to have an insight that you and I are scum-partners, but would not say what that insight was?

You aren't interested to know why he thinks you're my scum-bro?

I think people have asked him enough and he hasn’t explained in a way I understand. So…I’m good. No need to beat a dead potato.

Although…whipped potato sounds good. Like you could boil and then whip it.

It is Patrick Stewart. I googled Patrick Stewart potatoes, and apparently there was a meme of him cooking some.

This is what I have so far:

D1:
bozo: none
bo_sox: ?
BunnyGo: HP
Chaqa: HP
Control V: ?
damo: none
DiplomacyandWarfare: HP
DreamTrawler: HP
foodcoats: ?
ghug: ?
Jamie: HP
Just: none
Kakarroto: CP
miminena: SP
rdrivera: ?
Red Neurax: ?
worcej: ?

There are 2 HPs unaccounted for. I assume the RP holder want to keep it hidden, so "none" refers to no HPs, CP, or SP.
