Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Tessie Hutchinson's children's scraps of paper were blank. A few prayers were heard murmured among the gathered crowd.
Tessie's own scrap had to be yanked from her hand. Of course, it did contain the dreaded smudge. She collapsed to the ground, sobbing about fairness.
“All right, folks,” Mr. Winter said. “Let’s finish quickly.”
Although the villagers had forgotten origins of the ritual, they still remembered to use potatoes - brown and tough. The pile of potatoes the boys had made earlier was ready. Mrs. Sanderson selected a potato so large she had to pick it up with both hands and turned to Mrs. Elliott. “Come on,” she said. “Hurry up.”
The children already had potatoes.
The first villager let his potato fly. It missed.
The second potato didn't.
Bonk!
“It isn’t fair, it isn’t right,” Mrs. Hutchinson screamed, and then she was muffled by the sound of scores of flying potatoes.
ND has died. He was Tessie Hutchinson of the town!

Why did you vote for miminena after they claimed to have the SP?

I don't think any of the wagons that were more than vote were scum. Poor D1 imo.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Why didn't you just vote off the wagons or no-kill after you claimed to have the CP to avoid confusion about the vote count?Kakarroto wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:58 pmI think it would be better if I did, but as long as you don't tie it, that should be fine. But right now it looks like no one is moving because people think it isn't tied?DiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:55 pmno, do not. If you do so I will assume you are lying.
which it is, the vote is practically tied (if no one voted while I was typing that)
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
well, I was wrong about ND
that's why I thought first it would be best to vote for me, as no one was voting me at the time, to show that my vote 100% didn't count. But you didn't want that. Which is kinda strange, I have to say
but I didn'T lie. I also didn't want to post after the time, as ghug has emphasized that I am not the best to strictly keep the seconds in mind

Dip moved so I had to honour my promise. I didn't like any of the main wagons (including ND) so I plonked my vote on red as a kind of no consequence protest. (Also red would be disappointed if I didn't vote them).

I don't mean this as a point toward you being either scum or town but it's interesting that you started the winning wagon while also holding the couch potato.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 9:17 pmwell, I was wrong about ND

I was just surprised because earlier you said you wanted to save miminena, but then didn't move to ND but to someone else.damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 9:18 pmDip moved so I had to honour my promise.
