He’s got like triple the posts he normally does.
He’s interacting a little and trying a little.
And we as a group kinda promised we’d reward that with letting him live till day 2 and try and see how to turn it around.
I agree. I wanna vote him too. But cmon. This is sooooo lazy, and we’re all gonna learn nothing.

Is there a particular thing that someone has presented as a reason to suspect DiplomacyandWarfare that you agree with?

I also do not want to vote miminena out, but they did say they were town reading me and damo, so it is possible we have been pocketed. Still, I don't see any reason to vote them over anyone else.

Ghug would probably go for that. He loves Vanilla.

What are you referring to when you say "read on the game open"?Control V wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 7:20 am##vote DreamTrawler
I Don't think they believe their read on the game open. Don't see where it would come from at all. Very convienient to agree with joke reads instead of making your own tbh.
And I think Mimi should interact with my content since I oddly enough actually have content contrary to their implications.
Otherwise than that no more scumreads and Bo is likely spewed town.
Would like if people commented on my DreamTrawler read.

I think he has always interacted some and tried some, but it is definitely not true that has 3X the post as "normal". He is about on pace to reach his typical D1 post count of 10-15 posts.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 11:34 amGuys…can we not do the “vote red for scummy lurker” day 1 again?!?

I have been doing it for several years, in nearly every game, Bozo. You cannot tell me this is the first time you have become aware of it. You are much more observant than that. I changed one word in Ghug's post to gently tease him about liking very Vanilla setups. Why are you choosing to focus on this detail, right now?

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
I don't know, that is why I was asking. I am not up to date on mafia rulings. I know you have done it before, and I know players have objected to it before, so I thought maybe there was an official ruling by now. The reason I am asking about it "right now" is because of DiplomacyandWarfare's complaint of you doing it to him, and your response that you indicated you had edited his post. If editing posts is allowed, that's OK with me, but I don't think it is unreasonable for DiplomacyandWarfare to find it suspicious.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:38 pmHas it been ruled unacceptable, O Robot Detective?

I am certain that it is allowed because I have never been sanctioned for it by any GM, nor by any Council ruling.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:54 pmI don't know, that is why I was asking. I am also not the only person that has ever done it, by the way; I'm just particularly prone to being tempted to do it. I personally find it an amusing feature of the way the WebDip Forum is designed.

OK, thanks. It is an unusual feature and I think it unfortunately could be used maliciously, not just in a game of mafia.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:56 pmI am certain that it is allowed because I have never been sanctioned for it by any GM, nor by any Council ruling.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:54 pmI don't know, that is why I was asking. The Kouncil has NOT ruled this illegal. That doesn't mean we, as a body, like it. But it wouldn't be wrong to say we have had discussions about it. And in THIS case I would argue on the Kouncil floor that Jamie made it clear (to me anyway) what he was doing. It is a 'presentation' thing, not a "making someone's words change' thing.
This is NOT to comment on Dip's suspicion, OR Jamie's defense of his succumbing to temptation.
But, simply put, it is NOT illegal.

Re: Mafia round 93: Jamie is Innocent! (game thread)
Thank you Darg.
The Ghug edit was just playing about; in no way could it be seen to be an attempt to frame Ghug as Mafia or some odd thing.
The D&W edit was 0bviously not skulduggery because I drew attention to the fact that I had done it. I could have achieved the same thing with a copy-and-paste. (This is why it is absurd that he is screaming and shouting about it).
