also I honestly agree with bo about voting lurkers, there are so many that it would be easy to skate by and have one or two mafia teammates handle the posting.

I haven’t read anything else. Decided to check the bot for the typical “kill a lurker vote” and wasn’t shocked to see one on me.

I wonder when D1’s will be more interesting and not about lurker killing…

Sure, I think all he’s said so far is that he also thinks we should mass potato someone.
Yes. I asked this question because Ghug has contributed less than ND.
I am sure Ghug does not like it being pointed out that his contribution is inferior to that of ND, and I am confident that this will encourage him out of his ghuggle-hole. Unfortunately he will probably just increase his contribution by demanding that I am Daykilled for no particular reason, like he does most of the time on D1 because he is a dullard.

Anyone laid down some mechanics ideas yet?

Or are we doing the whole “don’t talk about the mechanics and just find scum” thing?

Why waste a D1 kill on a lurker over someone contributing to the game?

Damo and Bozo have been talking about potato probabilities. Bozo also has suggested using the “mafia can’t pass sweet potato to mafia” rule to townclear people.

Sorry, I don't see it.

What is your opinion on the SP holder revealing they had it during the phase after they pass it?
So let's game this out because you've only seen one piece and that worries me:

1) Bozo's plan lets us see whom can pass to whom. This publicly clears people IF:
a) They pass the SP to a scum
AND
b) the scum dies, which is harder when they have a SP

But also:

The SP location being known means the scum will never hit it with the NK

AND

The SP location and passing being done will encourage "info kills". And these also will encourage people to pass to scum reads to get self cleared...which is bad use of SP mech and only leaves us with the "scum can't pass to scum" mech.

So...overall, I don't think it's an obvious win, and I'm slightly surprised you do.
the location wouldn't be known in this scenario since the sp holder would only claim after having passed it on, right?
And then…?

I considered the trade-off of not trying to use the SP to block a NK, but the way I was reading the description, I thought the SP was eliminated if it blocks a kill, so it seemed that trying to generate town clears would be a better use of the SP than trying to block one NK. I may have been wrong about the SP being a one use item, though. As for a mafia being less likely to get killed with the SP, that is just for one phase. With the SP being passed every phase, we could generate 8 pairs of T/T or S/T by D5, it seems to me that could be useful in trying to identify mafia.
I don’t think we learn as much extra as you think we do. But I might be wrong.

That is right, I was suggesting the holder only claiming they had the SP the phase after passing it, not revealing who they passed it to, so I think that objection by BunnyGo is not warranted.
Ah! I misunderstood. That does resolve my objections.

Yes. Claiming “I have just passed the SP” without claiming to whom is a good idea.

Please explain how you asserted that I was scum with Bunny, Miminena, and Foodcoats, and yet, in the same post, you then went on to assert that I was sending coded signals to scum!damo, who was not listed in your alleged scumteam at the top of the post???
Do you really ascribe scum motivation to D&W's posts?
I think it's lazy and forced which could be scum tryng to get a reason to cast a vote.

I don't think you're wrong town; I think you're malicious scum making up false shit on purpose.
I’m still wondering if this is scum!jamie committing to pushing back after overreacting to the “caps” push on his first post. Reminds me of the game I bussed him on his first post and he blew up. As of then tried to cover the blow up.

Shit. He usually only does blatant shit like that and changing around his signature when he’s town.

Sigh.

Funny I got home and opened the game and this is one of the first messages I see. I am on page 17 and almost started there but decided to look last page first

perhaps bunny will see this message and decide not to add more maf votes onto the wagon on me, as that will get them both found later
perhaps not
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Why the fuck would I vote you?

Are we reading the same game?

What the fuck is wrong with you and the martyr complex?

I am still undecided about this exchange between Jamiet and DipandWar. I usually tend to read this level of aggressiveness on D1 as T x T, specially Jamiet. But sometimes it looks forced. Like this, when Jamiet didn't really made lies, just edited the post to show what he thinks it's a contradiction. Anyone that knows more about DipandWar, it's this his usual self?
