WebDip’s next round of Kouncil elections will be coming up in the spring. More info will be forthcoming over the next month or two.

Given my absence (for a good reason - my son is a handful) I do not plan on running for re-election. I might in the future however.

I’m hoping I can get playing a game sometime soon.

I am struggling to see anyone wanting to do this. I really do not have the right temperament for it. My involvement in this community I feel is going into a bit of a hibernation until M100. I can do plenty for webdip mafia by my historian stuff, running games, promoting us elsewhere, im working on getting us set up as a partner community with mafiauniverse where people can run games there also and utilize their bot. im working on bringing in new players.

I dont need to be on the council to do any of this stuff I just do this, my trivia, my articles for passion for the game. I tried being on the council and found the administrative democracy stuff tiring and really hard to know how to enforce rules. I also think I just have alot of temper and alot of emotions that make it hard for me to keep my cool sometimes.

That said, the only other person who wanted to throw their name in also has served before, and I think has the same temper issues at times as myself. Jamie.

I have one person in mind who is young, fresh, and very personable. they are probably the best as far as fitting the right style of personality and that person is kingofthepirates (KOTP).

I asked them if they were interested on discord but I wanna push them that this is something they would be a good fit for. KOTP is never grumpy, never lashes out, plays plenty of games and has a great presence in our discord and forum community.

if he wants to job I would vote for KOTP

Hello everyone!

Normally, this is where I would share info about how to vote on the Kouncil, but this year that we only had two candidates who met the criteria to run for election and self-nominated: Damo and Ghug.

Thus, your 2025-2026 Kouncil will consist of:
- Dargo (permanent position as mod liaison)
- Ghug
- Damo

Anyways, I will not do as retiring elected officials usually do... I'm off to join the board of Chipotle, who have been my biggest donors over my career.

like everybody is their own mafia team but two people need to make a kill for it to go through or smth like that so it plays somewhat similarly to a game of diplomacy

Interesting. It wasn't clear to me from the rules - could the two scumteams nightkill each other? And is their win-con still to kill all of town?

Tiny hunt is a mini game where no one has a flip upon death

You do not learn anyones role or alignment

However everyone has a role and only 1 of them is guaranteed to be town

The cop which is just called a priest.

There is a role that can tell you both the role and alignment of a dead person but you also dont know if that person is good or evil either

And then some other wacky mechanics such as

Once you die the game isnt over you are a deceased angel who can doc save 1 person each night

And once you die as mafia you can frame haunt a person each night thereby making any priest scans come back as evil on that person

What about a game where everyone is their own individual mafia team but theres no nightkills, and all that matters is surviving the day kills, and once theres 2 people left the people voted out get to vote who the winner is
