yeah i think it's probably confederate governor or pre-independence Liberia. so people who were technically a US governor if you look at it a certain way but really weren't

very fun pick! i had considered John Brown Russwurm earlier, who was governor of the Republic of Maryland (which eventually merged into liberia), but somehow Liberia never came to mind until after q20 :p

Likewise. Good choice! I do try to follow the 20Q threads but they move fast. Occasionally I can catch up and jump in with something when others are temporarily stumped.
