And I’m slightly concerned that if Dream is the actual mason based on his last minute question, that ghug made a brilliant bluff at EON.

Not going to entertain it for now. But if dream CCs, I’ll not be too surprised.

So - I am not going to counterclaim Mason. And the fact that no one has done so means Ghug is pretty clearly the Mason.

But I did say that EoN as a tactic. I was thinking about fake claiming Mason earlier in the night to see if anyone responds but I decided that was way too bold and probably unhelpful. However I wanted to prompt it right at EoN so that there would be some pressure and there would hopefully not be multiple claims, and this is exactly what happened.

(Obviously if you think I’m Maf then it seems like I am slating the Mason for a night kill but there is a whole day of voting before that)

I think kaka has had lots of strange interactions.

I think Dream is the most likely partner of either Just or Kaka.

I think Just is absent. And I’d hate to lose voting for an absent town, but as I’m probably voting him tomorrow if he stays absent, I’d rather not gamble it all today unless I have to.

As an amendment, it’s STRANGE he seems absent, as he’s top 3 poster. So maybe I should reconsider that opinion.

My cards on the table are that I think you’re Mafia and this is a clever deflection to get people to start suspecting someone that they previously did not.

If I had to pick the second Mafia I would guess Kakarroto but that’s mostly because I think it would be kind of dumb if it was you and Will and you both weren’t present much in D2.

Also, I noted this previously but several people mentioned your name on their list of top 3 suspected. I did (though admittedly it was when I thought damo was Mafia and you two were connected), and so did Jaime, damo I think, and Kak. However, no one voted for you. I think it would make sense if Kak threw in your name to make it seem like he was on the same wavelength as me and Jamie.

Will isn’t here and wasn’t here for much of D2 so I really can’t get full info. I will definitely factor that into my vote when he returns.

I was not incited, but I also don't think you're playing that poorly. This is a low-activity game, which makes it harder on town in general, but that's on all of us.

I think it’s Kak but I don’t have anything concrete. Reasoning is just

1. Will and Bunny both being afk for a while D2, even if it was for personal reasons, seems like a bad strat if they were both Mafia

2. Kakarroto is one of the people who mentioned BunnyGo as Mafia but only after me and Jamie did, but never voted for Bunny. Seems like a decent way to deflect

3. Long posts and leading the hunt for mafia is also a good way to deflect

But I could very well be wrong!

And why is Senator Kakarroto slated for execution? As far as I can tell his only crime was speaking Latin. Surely Rome has not sunk so low as to punish her own mother tongue.

Obviously they will eagerly cast suspicion on each other, I just found that exchange interesting since it was almost taking for given that Kak is guilty.

I would also like to ask you, DreamTrawler, how did you feel getting the game explained to you? Anything special you've noticed?

What do you think about the game overall. Is it fast/slow, do you think people are chatty or more withdrawn? Any surprised from the last game you've seen?

What are your thoughts about Will, and his stance to not vote for you for at least D3?

I think I understand the basics of the game. Still not super clear on D1 strategy - word count and such seem like an interesting tool but not anything concrete. I think interrogating lurkers makes sense but I have no idea how each player normally acts.

I think saying he won’t vote for me until D3 is… interesting. By D3 no one should be safe. Perhaps he’s trying to earn some goodwill (ha) from me? I appreciate one day of not being voted, but I don’t expect anything beyond that from anyone.

On that note, is it worth speculating who the Mafia will kill? Or is that just going to draw suspicion/influence their decisions?
