This @ghug?

It was not the calling him Cinna that bothered me. This post alone was meh, but fine.

The post prior that was also his followed immediately by this one was brutal because he seemed to know why mafia killed him AND had it prepped to go without realizing it was obviously saying "I'm off to hunt something useless!"

good morning. I think he means this one.

Hmmm. Did dip hide something in his text? If so mafia might've cracked that code. Though I thought he did it because he wasn't mason and he did just post some gibberish.

Well then, would it be good if the other mason hides? Like mafia would probably know, or at least have a pretty good guess, who the other mason is?
I did not prepare this one in advance or something. But feel free to judge for it yourself.

Meanwhile, it's morning here in europe. I have to say I'm pretty miffed to see that not much has happened after I went to bed. The situation is dire and one mistake and we lose. We have some advantage though, with ghug revealing, we only need to find our other town friend. Also, we now have a 2 in 3 chance to randomly get a mafia, if we would throw a coin or roll dice.

Like, I know I am town, and with ghug being guaranteed town, only one of Bunny, Will and Dream can be town. If our other town friend isn't sure, it's the same pool just with me inside and them taken out. But it doesn't help when there is a big silence from two, and Bunny also feels more reactive than active, it's like you need to pull out contribution from him.

Personally, I think the chances for people to be town are about this:

Bunny ~10% - I'm pretty sure at this point that he is part of the mafia team, as I read both Will and Dream as much likelier town. I mean much of Bunny is more null to me than pointing to mafia, but I really don't have any candidates below him. He also seems to critique me a lot, but it doesn't feel like he wants to get to know, more like showing it. Maybe I'm understanding it wrong. I'm not the best in reading Bunny, but if he is town, he needs to do much more until I believe it. At least he is the one of the three who is most open, even when he feels reactive here.

Will ~ 40% maybe 45% - with the presentation of his early ready, I was, or maybe still am, still sus of it, at least a little bit. He said they were mild but that could just be an easy backtrack. Still, I liked how he reacted after he was pushed. Will town stocks are trending up for me. But I also know that Will can do great things as mafia. I don't like that he has fallen back into silence today. Like, he should know that this is probably the most crucial time for town, and he should know that we need to find ourselves, even when there is RL stuff to do.

Dream ~ 45% to 50% - from the start I got only good vibes here. Other people too pointed out that Dream should be town. But Dream hasn't been doing much, I have to say. Be that he is a new player and doesn't know us well, be that it's just his style, be that's because he never played this game in a forum. I've pointed that out and wanted him to do more, but he didn't listen, maybe he suspects me too much, or maybe he just feels confident in his position and sits back. Whatever it is, I grow more suspicious of it, getting a bad feeling, and while I can't point to anything in particular that's bad, I fear we all overlooked something from him. So Dream, if you are town, come out here, and show us that you are. I can't really trust someone that is this silent.

I think I need to reread the game with eyes on possible maf-teams between the three. Don't have too much time today, but that should be doable. I suggest to my other town friend to do the same, although it IS true what Will said about me that I do know a thing or two about distancing to my partner when I'm mafia. That doesn't necessarily work for my partner though, so I guess that could be a way to tackle it. Or just look at the team that's left when substracted ghug, yourself and me. That is the mafia team, I can guarantee it, but maybe you don't need to just blindly believe me, maybe you see a connection there? Anyway, I'll be having a look myself, if I find anything.

Also, maybe I should've waited until ghug finished his questioning of the Bunny; but we other townies can't just sit back and let the PR's do all the stuff. Sure, rally behind them and let them take the lead, that is fine. But surely not just sit back and give all work and responsibility to the PR. Ghug, I'm sure you see it the same way?

So if you don't trust me in that matter, see what ghug has to say about it, and judge for your own.

And I’m slightly concerned that if Dream is the actual mason based on his last minute question, that ghug made a brilliant bluff at EON.

Not going to entertain it for now. But if dream CCs, I’ll not be too surprised.

Ok. For now will lock in ghug as mason unless someone CCs.

That leaves kaka, Just, and dream.

Two of them have barely registered in my mind. So probably should go ISO them. Will try and reset my scum lean on Kaka.

Not much happened AI since gamestart so essentially it is starting at 5

Dip slight townlean
1. can you explain a bit more why Dip is a slight townlean?

And if so, please explain a bit more why Dip is a slight townlean.
1. Dip seems more proactive and less reactive. Like he really wants to get in the game

2. Dip seems more proactive and less reactive. Like he really wants to get in the game
Interesting progression b/w kaka-just

I think we should concentrate our voting on those that voted Dip at some stage - they are: Bunny, me, Dream, ghug.

I was townreading Bunny yesterday because I thought he'd dropped a mason hint. However I doubt he'd open with a vote of his fellow mason (although that would be a kinda nice sneaky trick).

So ##vote Bunny
Beyond the fact that it's entirely possibly a mason would vote for their teammate early in the phase to distance, even taking your conclusion at face value shouldn't lead to limiting voting to that pool. It's entirely possible the Mafia simply didn't vote for Dip.

##VOTE damo
This aged well

so I guess the best thing is for the mason themselves to decide if they want to claim or not. In my opinion, if they think mafia has found out who they are, due to the code (pretty sure D&W did explain that to his partner), and are at high risk of being the Night 2 NK, they should probably claim today, although on a later date, to see how the game develops. Maybe after the halfway point?

Well the same is true if somehow they are close to be voted out, as ghug said. Maybe wait a bit if the pressure dissipates, but not like five minutes before EoD.

But if they are pretty sure to be hidden, stay down and keep low, try to survive to the endgame, and give us a townclear at the end time. Think that sounds good?

In that sense, if they see mafia claiming to be the mason, they should probably wait for the end of the night, right? Or would a direct counter then better? Like a surehit on a mafia early for a trade as the NK? Or adding a living townclear at the later stage with a surviving mafia until then? Could maybe give more info for connections, but if handled badly, could mean loss of the mason with being hit by a random NK without their opinions shared.

Ah well, I guess it's the mason's choice to decide what to do. I think it wouldn't hurt if someone gave some advice for it, but don't force our PR in any direction, it's their choice.
Mason practically always should claim EON next night regardless

Or if they become the leading wagon
Interesting kaka-Just sequence. Along with dream later asking for advice for Mason.

Can you explain Bunny

Who would Bunny’s other partner be if I flip town
Bunny and damo comes to mind, though they are now voting both me, so that detracts from that. Also Jamie could be fooling me again and it's Bunny and Jamie, but then again, I'm not sure that it's Bunny.

But Bunny's sudden vanish after he came back for a second, voted me and finished his post-limit (which surprised me when our GM announced it so I double checked and he actually posted enough) has me sussing him. Like, if that doesn't make you wonder, what will?
I forgot about Bunny being gone lol

You and Bunny kinda meld in my mind due to the pfps lol

I do, but its not as pronounced as it was yesterday

Ghug’s EOD was pretty bad but he’s gotten progressively better today. I’m curently rereading from that point to solidify my read

question: Wouldn't mafia know that Red flips town, and thus trying to not have blood on their hands?

But I came to a similar conclusion as Bunny so I dont think its implausible for another townie to come to that

First thought after just rereading Just’s ISO:

If it’s Just-kaka as the team, they’ve been very brazen with the theatre. Active, and MOSTLY active with each other.

And since the game is fairly low activity in general, that’s a great strategy.

But it also reads fairly naturally from both of them. I personally will have a hard time thinking they’re the team.

Ok. Time to reread Dream and see how that goes.
