I dont view voting damo as an information flip. I think he’s scummy first and informative second

Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
Can someone fill me in on how damo has acted in past games? Both as town and mafia.
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
He's picking a single thing to care about and then using that single thing to manufacturer a reason not to vote for most of the game. Simple odds support that there probably is a scum in the dip voters, but that's not a good reason to ignore everyone else, and I think town damo would be working harder to consider everyone.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 4:40 pmHow so?ghug wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 3:51 pmThis is scum damo logic.damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 9:20 am
I don't and wouldn't play like that. It's tantamount to cheating.
However gonna ##unend.
Might be around EOD but if so I may be incoherent!
Don't kill me, I'm town.
I very much doubt all the Dip voters we're town which means at least one scum in {bunny, ghug, Dream} perhaps the latter is a dark horse.
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
Substantiate those assertions because I don't think I agree with either of them.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:17 pmI do, but its not as pronounced as it was yesterdayDreamTrawler wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:14 pmGotcha. And Will - you were on ghug all day. Do you still feel ghug is sus?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 4:55 pm
He appeared to be naked voting and making unexplained pushes. He was being lazy. I got bad vibes. That was then. I am inclined to townlean Ghug now.
Ghug’s EOD was pretty bad but he’s gotten progressively better today. I’m curently rereading from that point to solidify my read
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
It wasn't that he misunderstood it. Your statement was confusing. It was that he built an obviously incorrect interpretation of your statement to respond to.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:22 pmI find the way Ghug hopped on you for misunderstanding something I said to be pretty opportunistic. Its something that could have been mistaken and I do not believe you formed a solid read off the misunderstandingJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:18 pmWhat makes you think Ghug and myself are on opposite teams? I would like detail on this theory.
For this reason I think Ghug and you are not on the same team
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
I get why you're crusading against this and I think you're right to, but you're going to lose me if you start ascribing scummy motivation to it, since we know townies do it.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:24 pmThis just doesn’t sit right with me
5-1-1-1-1 wagons indicate a townie being wagoned
Idk why people didnt pick up that red was town here
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
The red wagon shot up so quickly it seemed likely someone was saving someone. My vote xposted with all the other ones. I wanted some action for intel but that seemed suspicious.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 12:24 pmCall me useless, Bunny, I'm just going with the flow and try to find my way to the game each time I play.
Now that you are back, explain again how your votes happened on Day one.
You were on dip for a long time.
You went onto the Red wagon.
After that wagon shot up, you hopped off to Jamie.
You kept there on this solo wagon, not going to ghug, not going to the main wagon Red, not even going to the vanity vote of dip, which you sussed the whole day before.
Why?
And I went back to Jamie because D&W seemed no longer viable and I didn’t like Jamie’s actions; also his tone had been shifting more scum!jamie than town!jamie and I was doubting my initial townlean of him. But ghug’s point during the night about Jamie looking good claiming VT and not shifting to Red looked good on reread.

Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
He’s explicitly trying to talk about Dip’s “codes”. Like he was either hunting during the night, or trying to bait Dip’s partner to slip. It just seemed more PR hunty than scum hunty.

As scum, if I sub then my replacement dies but my teammate continues.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 4:26 pm?? if you feel unwell and are ill? Especially when we know we have a sub ready? Of course you should sub out then. Like, don't be a liability to your team, either work on it or sub out for someone that can!BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 4:14 pmSubbing out as town is a weird recommendation.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 7:58 pmmy current thoughts about the likelyhood of everyone being mafia (from towniest to mafiaest):
Dream
Jamie
ghug
damo
Will
Bunny
I think Dream is most likely town. If he fools me here, that's on me (and he should have a bright future if he continues to play).
I'm pretty sure Jamie is town. I still think there are chances he is mafia because he is just so good at it, but I also think, if that's the case, we will catch Jamie only if we get the other mafia first. If damo is mafia, Jamie is probably towncleared.
I am a bit more sus of damo than of ghug, though only a little. Maybe it's a >/= thing, but the code thing just makes damo more sus to me. Both seem a bit like holding back a bit, not saying much what they think, or at least don't go much into detail. Not necessarily mafia, I do not like it however.
Will putting his easy town reads out, while not really defending one who is on the block, the other turning up dead on the next morning, is striking. Now Will isn't here, even when he said he would catch up soon.
Bunny is also missing, declaring an illness. Hope you get better soon, but at this point you might get modkilled, so if you are town, just sub out. Dip was very sus on Bunny, and while I liked his posts at the time, on reread they get worse. I can easily see a world where maf-Bunny votes dip a long time, then changes, never switching back to dip, and then kills dip at night. Well it could be just coincidence, but I think maf-Bunny would do stuff like that. Also no drunk-Bunny at night.
As town; my replacement dies and town learns nothing and is on the brink.
I’ll power through and do my best to hunt and make it easy to townread me.

Which ghug explicitly called out as a strong reason to town read Jamie

Why ghug? Where did he come from on your radar?Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:50 pmYou see my point for removing lurkers?JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 5:45 pmI’m caught up from EOD to EON1
I think damo looks the worst from that, Jamie looks a bit better and Ghug looks a bit worse
Bunny has had points for and against so I’m keeping him in null. I’d rather see someone do towny and scummy things than doing nothing significant. The former indicates a towny who doesnt gaf how they are percieved, and the latter indicates someone trying ot fly UTR
Anyway, I need to think more. Not that I'm convinced that Will or Bunny are town, just with all that, but I have let things sink in.
In the meantime I'll
##vote ghug
for consul, I feel he is too silent right now and needs some encouragement.

Me, being first on the Bunny wagon, only damo joining, but leaving after a whileDreamTrawler wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 6:21 pmIt seems like a lot of people have put Bunny as their second or third most suspected, but no one has voted Bunny.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 6:13 pmI do not think I will vote for Ghug, or Dreamtrawler, or JustWill today.
So my pool is Damo, Bungo, Kakko.
Not encouraging it, just an observation.
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
Jamie did ask for a reveal too, don't forget that. And it all started because I put a question into the room. But yeah, damo doing that is unusual of him, from what I know about him.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 7:28 pmTrue. I mean, I also think damo is sus and I’m confused why he didn’t try to meaningfully defend himself (nor is anyone really defending him, just pointing out other people who are sus).Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 7:21 pmWe hardly have the luxury of an information flip. I think damo would reveal the most info just based on who was and wasn't pointing fingers at damo. I could also see a Bunny or Kak vote. I don't really have any thing to go off of for you or Ghug.
To be clear my suspicion is because of his vote flipflops in D1, plus defending Bunny and voting Jamie for no real reason, then asking Mason #2 to reveal early D2.
