Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
Call me useless, Bunny, I'm just going with the flow and try to find my way to the game each time I play.
Now that you are back, explain again how your votes happened on Day one.
You were on dip for a long time.
You went onto the Red wagon.
After that wagon shot up, you hopped off to Jamie.
You kept there on this solo wagon, not going to ghug, not going to the main wagon Red, not even going to the vanity vote of dip, which you sussed the whole day before.
Why?

No, my quote above was sarcasm, I thought it was bullshit.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:20 amDid you figure it out?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 4:06 pmThese numbers could represent positions in a certain type of cipher or code. For instance, they might relate to a book or text where a specific number indicates a paragraph (first number) and a letter or word (second number).
The presence of an isolated zero is bothering me, however.

Valid answer (though rendered somewhat moot by passing events).BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:21 amBecause he’d started by “pushing lurkers” (over the first few hours) and then announcing his disappearance. And then not disappearing but showing up again to argue about someone voting him. The post’s existence was sketchy.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 4:10 pm@BunnyGo: Why was the above post by D&W "the most suspicious post" of the first six pages of the game?

One Mason bussing the other Mason would be a fairly wild play.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:47 amI did not intentionally drop a mason crumb and will neither confirm nor deny I am D&W’s partner.damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 10:20 pmI think we should concentrate our voting on those that voted Dip at some stage - they are: Bunny, me, Dream, ghug.
I was townreading Bunny yesterday because I thought he'd dropped a mason hint. However I doubt he'd open with a vote of his fellow mason (although that would be a kinda nice sneaky trick).
So ##vote Bunny

False for Jamie.
You have played with me in enough games to know that I push participation as any alignment.
I mean, you're right that I'm Town, but this particular post was not evidence that I am Town.

By the way, Jamie, your 8 hour ultimatum for Will is over, though I think it was a bit short set, plus it got into the night time for the trans-atlantic ones?
He seemed not to notice it at least. You have a good solution of dragging him back?

well, I wanted to pressure Bunny more, but with only one vote, and Bunny already having posted something, I think my vote would be better onJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 1:15 pmThere is only one mechanism available to me.

But don't think for a second I've lost interest in you, Bunny. I want to know your thoughts on that progression.

Hi, catching up. Are people switching to Will out of genuine suspicion or to avoid a missed opportunity if he is modkilled?

Trying to determine whether a mason voted their partner isn’t really fruitful, except if it happened toward EOD, its WIFOM mainlyghug wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 10:55 pmBeyond the fact that it's entirely possibly a mason would vote for their teammate early in the phase to distance, even taking your conclusion at face value shouldn't lead to limiting voting to that pool. It's entirely possible the Mafia simply didn't vote for Dip.damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 10:20 pmI think we should concentrate our voting on those that voted Dip at some stage - they are: Bunny, me, Dream, ghug.

Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
Killing red for lurking again was dumb
Like i get killing lurkers in a larger game but we only have 2 miskills total
For the second game in a row we’ve killed someone for something that was NAI and surprise surprise it was a townie

Well I mean sure, but this takes voting at face value as random
Idk what the best play is here
Re: M1035 - Julius Caesar Mafia - Game Thread
Well I want Will to pressure to play the game, whatever his alignment is, for now. I want more info from him, if he is town he might have a fresh and/or unique perspective of the game. If he is mafia, he might make a mistake and reveal his partner.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 2:59 pmHi, catching up. Also, for the health of the game itself, this and following, it's just not a good feeling when people get modkilled or modsubbed. Subbing is there for emergencies when life happens. Modkills are for when it's just not possible to fill that void. If such a thing happens, even when it's in favour for someone's faction, is just not a good feeling, at least in my opinion.
Like, the goal of this game is, ultimatively, having fun with likeminded people. Getting behind a mystery, trying to reveal, getting the old brain muscles going. Not seeing someone stand there, silently drooling, then falling over dead as a 10 ton anvil crushes them from above.
What do you think of what Will has shown so far, though, @Dream?
