i dont believe in sharing my views this early because i dont really have much information to go off of and just saying randoom things is not very effective
fair point about sharing when you don't have much information. It's however very beneficial for town to talk about stuff, to generate information.

Like, what do you think about damo here, coming in after a long period, placing an invalid vote on ghug, then switch to dip after he was informed about it?

Or what are your thoughts about Dream getting informed about the game, and those involved? Did you maybe notice something in particular?

Do you have any questions for others?
honestly im suspicious of bunnygo and dreamtrawler pairing not gonna elaborate why at the moment because i want to observe if this suspicious behavior continues
well, looking for pairings is a somewhat effective method of mafia hunting, though to truly benefit from it, we'd need to find one mafia first.

But did you notice any other pair behaviour that is suspicious?

Why did you place an invalid vote for Ghug and then move off him the moment your mistake was pointed out?
1 mistake

2 bored
You are voting for Dip&War instead of Ghug because you are bored.

I would also like to ask you, DreamTrawler, how did you feel getting the game explained to you? Anything special you've noticed?

What do you think about the game overall. Is it fast/slow, do you think people are chatty or more withdrawn? Any surprised from the last game you've seen?

What are your thoughts about Will, and his stance to not vote for you for at least D3?
I think I understand the basics of the game. Still not super clear on D1 strategy - word count and such seem like an interesting tool but not anything concrete. I think interrogating lurkers makes sense but I have no idea how each player normally acts.

I think saying he won’t vote for me until D3 is… interesting. By D3 no one should be safe. Perhaps he’s trying to earn some goodwill (ha) from me? I appreciate one day of not being voted, but I don’t expect anything beyond that from anyone.

On that note, is it worth speculating who the Mafia will kill? Or is that just going to draw suspicion/influence their decisions?
Actually, the more I think about it the more suspicious the thing with Will is. I took it simply as a kindness to a new player, but since multiple people have called attention to it I am analyzing it from a strategic perspective.

If Will is town, he is a) shooting himself in the foot by ruling out a player who could very well be Mafia and b) putting a big target on his back. I say this because, I know that I am town - and the Mafia also know I am town. Therefore having one town member refuse to vote for another is a big disadvantage to them and they would have incentive to kill Will early.

If Will is Mafia, then it was a ploy to not get me to vote for him out of thanks perhaps? But that is a little obvious. Of course, not voting for me means nothing in that case as I can be killed off in a night phase.

But also maybe it was just a way of being nice.
Will has a history of not voting new players for the first day or two. I wouldn't read much into it.

I have to say, I normally have a policy of letting new players more leniency myself too, as either town or mafia. Giving them a somewhat 'free day' (if it isn't too outrageous) to get acclimated to the group and have some fun playing. That way we also get a better feeling for the new player ourselves.

In this short game it's a bit much. But I myself think that's something Will would do. Not saying what you should think, just that this is a quirk of Will that shouldn't probably not cause too much of a headache about his alignment. But if you can't shake the suspiciousness off of that, you are free to vote him for that. That would tell us something about you too.

I think I messed up some double negatives here. I wanted to say that I think that it's normal for Will to do that and it isn't suspicious to me.

I want to know more about damo.

@damo: Currently, you vote d&w to not be bored, as far as I understood it. But what are your thoughts about Red?

You were often asked by Jamie about the things you've done so far, anything you noticed there, positive or negative? How do you feel about it?

You did point out that Will normally does the thing where he proclaims not to vote for new players, any other thoughts you have about his play so far?

@D&W you have a poor track record.

Show us why you are town, right now?
Gross
You've been a void of negativity so far Ghug.

Who do you suspect and why?
Damo because he's lame-O. You because you're asking people to prove they're town with no direction instead of stating any actual case. Bunny because he's hard to read when he's gimmicking. Red because he's hard to read when he's lurking.

not at the moment. if it were up to me, i would go for bunnygo first to see how he lies and also not to take out the new guy first round

Again, Will does this every game with the new players. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I like the paranoia, though.

Yeah its not AI for me at all

However I do have a strange little townread on DreamTrawler for this paranoia about my intentions

wolf dreamtrawler would see all these zany things that we do, such as me not voting him D1 and just assume its something town does, because he has no frame of reference for what towns typically do. However the fact that he sees this and analyzes both options for why I could have does this makes me think hes town
