A tumbleweed rolls past on the wind!

At the other end, between two columns, Pseudolus sees a man standing on a short log. There's a rope around his neck!

"Hold on!" Pseudolus shouts and starts to run.

The tumble weed blows up along side him.

In the distance, he hears the man yell, "They strung me up and left me here!"

"Don't worry!" Pseudolus shouts, "I'm almost there!" He can see now that the man is balancing precariously, wobbling too and fro, barely managing to keep the rickety piece of wood underneath him.

The tumbleweed blows past, headed straight for the teetering plank. The gentle breeze blows it right up against the piece of wood the man is balancing on, and then comes to a gentle rest.

Just then, a pigeon lands on the man's shoulder, flapping his wings wildly, causing him to lose his balance. The rope goes taught and the pigeon flies away.
