Like idk what I could really do, I feel like I’ve had very solid reads the entire game and I’ve been pushing against town flips and for mafia flips

I get bussing happens and stuff like this does happen every once in a while but it feels like no matter how hard I push for something to happen, its unlikely people will significantly listen anyways and I just gotta hope and pray people come to the same conclusions as me

And rn theres no way I survive as any alignment so why should I even try atp? Its probably better for town to kill me anyways here

What solid reads have you pushed? Outside of pushing Dip heavily on D2, it's been a lot of being on anti-wagons (aka - being against the lead wagon) and talking about non-game stuff.

I haven't seen you put effort into actually pushing someone for multiple phases and trying to engage in the discourse of the game.

When ghug was almost killed yesterday he didnt have any legacy reads, didnt even show up for his own possible funeral. That seems a little odd to me. RHK survived by a second there and left us something in case. This can tell us a few things, ghug didnt have anything to leave as a legacy that would benefit town. Or he was just busy and was off enjoying a corona

He implied he's on vacation, so I have given him some grace for not being on at a specific time.

I think it's exceptionally unlikely that ghug would claim priest at night as scum or 3P. There are just no good reasons I can think of. Whereas I think it is typical for him as town and there are reasons to believe it could be either a true or a fake claim with him being town. Therefore there are more universes where ghug is town and claims priest at night. (Yes, it could be a galaxy-brain move, but we cannot solve the game if we imagine that scum are constantly galaxy-braining around town, so until more evidence is available, I would never vote ghug right now.)

I don't think this is conclusive, because there is not much down side to him fake claiming as mafia, since he could claim he was trying to protect the real doctor. I do agree it does not seem like a likely thing to do as 3P, though.

I thought you were making a carrier reference before, and now I see you were! Are you a Pacific War fanboy? Do you play War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition? Because if you do, we need to spend the next eight years playing a PBEM campaign against each other.

Okay, back to Mafia...

I am just now finding this! I love the pacific war and I have played a number of games that are war strategy games. Grew up playing war in the south pacific on an old Apple IIe computer, then Pacific General. Played a lot of the board game Pearl Harbor which is on vassal engine now, as well as CV, Flat Top, and a host of others. I think my favorite is just the old school really shitty graphics War in the South Pacific game because when it was just Lexington and Yorktown the nuances of all the little things that happened are so cool.

I agree with all of this and insert that I am always big-braining this and I think ghug is definitely capable of doing this all as scum/3p, but unlikely

Yeah, in general my vibe with Will is he's not trying to be towny and has instead been defending himself via "I come off as scum but trust me I'm not " and now he's dejected about being pressured.
