Please don’t say “content,” “content” is what’s wrong with modern society.
Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
Since we’re declaring… I will vote for Just or brain. I’ll try to do a whole reads list later. But I realized it is exactly as some others such as ND and worcej have pointed out that Just and brain have the weirdest VCA around Dip. Other possible scumreads, such as my Dip-ND theory, are more speculative and circumstantial, so it would be silly not to vote on harder evidence.
Also, Just has played the bus-my-teammate-D1 game and won with it; and honestly brain has seemed unlike himself all game, which, though it could be NAI/OGI, could also be because brain does not enjoy being scum. Just going onto a vanity Dip wagon right before EOD1 is a very strange action.
Not really sure they are paired, but they could be.
Anyway, I just don’t see any other very compelling evidence in the game at the moment and we have to flip one of them.

Alright, I'm going in a tunnel.
I forward the theory that not only is bozo mafia, but he is the goon.
Reasoning for the goon finger specifically:
From there, bozo goes on a long run on sowing doubt around the dip case. He has a long meta discussion about dip with brain on 34:
After this bozo vanishes until over a quarter of the way into D2. There are a flurry of posts on 55 and 56 ranging from the generic 'oopsie' post:
To some real JV level monday morning quarterbacking:
Finally, at 44 minutes out, he votes will, making it Dip 5 Will 3. Dip himself, notably, is off wagon, making it a realistic 5-4. Bozo then spends the last hour hammering the Will vote trying to sell it to people. Sticks around for about 10 minutes post flip and dips.
pops back up before EoN with an analysis of voters. Again fingering Will.
Dominated most of 84 quoting and interpreting dip posts. In my current tunnel, it looks like bozo is trying to be revisionist.
The rest of D3 is more positing regarding the people and their distance to the dip votes. Admittedly, this run feels better than most of what was done to this point, even if bozo was voting me.
This hits odd:
That brings us to D4. Mainly going over the pirates kill. More Will bashing.
-----
While not as slam dunk as I like my tunnels to seeming be, Imma keep drink the koolaid. Bozo has been trying to make sure the sip analysis and history fits the narrative they want. I will not be changing my vote because this is the wagon I want.
Also, to the question bozo asked, brain leaving the wagon causing dip to lose steam, and Red was becoming a runaway at that point as well. I figured a new option wouldn't hurt.
I forward the theory that not only is bozo mafia, but he is the goon.
Reasoning for the goon finger specifically:
Now this doesn't mean anything by itself, but working the line that he is mafia, this may have been a musing aloud with Dip in second place at 3 votes. (ND was in the lead at 4, if that make s a difference)bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 5:28 pmIf we DK a town or mafia PR D1, does that mean that it would be impossible for a witch to win by win condition 2?
From there, bozo goes on a long run on sowing doubt around the dip case. He has a long meta discussion about dip with brain on 34:
bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 5:52 pmI tried to look at it on the bot, but that was before he changed his user name, and his old name somehow confuses the bot. I think that was why he changed his user name during M88 (where he was also mafia, but subbed in).
A bit of a stretch, admittedly, but this downplays the closeness at the time:bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:31 pmDiplomacyandWarfare's mafia games are obscured by the bot. I was in M88, but DiplomacyandWarfare subbed into a slot that was essentially mechanically caught by the cop. DiplomacyandWarfare was town in the last game I played, and I don't remember him being overly serious.
After this bozo dips until EoD-4 to drop a naked vote for red. This was a hardcore pile on vote (makes it 8-3 to a building worc flash)bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 10:09 pmConsidering the self vote, I would say Red Neurax is the lead wagon.SpiritoftheRadio wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:50 pmtied 4 ND to 4 Red, then dip with 3, 10mins left, get to stepping

If you thought Red Neurax was likely scum at the point, why didn't you change your vote to try to break the tie?
Then we are back a few pages later to shade everyone over the D1 flip (Dip included), disappears again, pops back up 2 hours from EoDbozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2025 3:54 pmIt was very unlikely DiplomacyandWarfare would be DKed with 1 minute to go. I dont know what to tell you other than to get used to this as this is my end of the deal as a reconciliation of playing here and attempting to be less annoying

Also, heck Civ 7. I love losing a giant lead due to a crisis into an age change, and then out of nowhere every civ declares war on me within like 5 turns of each other.

Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
It's super fucking weird that Will went from a singular deathtunnel on brain to not voting him to start the day and then not joining a wagon on him when it presented itself. He apparently considers the two of us equal now but has displayed no progression to and given no explanation of that viewpoint.
I'm not terribly surprised I'm a wagon here. I'm definitely a little checked out. I am surprised that I did more in front analysis of the game in the minutes after dip died than pretty much anyone else has since. Vecna especially, I think you're probably town but you're being really fucking lazy.
I'm starting to worry Bozo's faking his town meta with the questions again. It kind of feels like he took one moment in the game, speedran questioning what everyone did at that moment, and then fucked off again. That said, I'm feeling pretty good about it bring Will and brain right now, so we can backburner that until I'm predictably proven wrong.

I think RHKs case on bozo makes some sense. I noticed that on several occasions Bozo has mentioned not being able to look up dip and wars past games but its been well documented on how to do that. Also realizing ive given him a free pass all game and hes barely even interacted with me.

Real talk
You get punished so hard for trying to be warfare focused. Winning? Ope, you're going over the settlement limit and your happiness is tanking. Raze them to stop that? Tanking all of your diplomatic ties with everyone.
The game doesn't want you to do good. V and VI are like writing your own history. VII, so far, is likely being on the Time Machene ride from idiocracy.
Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
Not particularly, I did want to flip him from D1 vote movements near EOD.
Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
At the time, I felt like damo was contributing the least to the game between Vecna, ghug, and himself. I said so with my vote.brainbomb wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 7:19 amWhat new information arrived that moved your vote from ghug to damo?
Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
This would require you to frame something. All you've done is ask a question.

In my case, I don't think he's coaxed anything FWIW.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 11:03 amIve had similar (unspoken? It isnt about actually laying out why Im mafia at all; hes just needling me and trying to ping people who have displayed a slight interest in the past for voting me.

Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
Look, I'm just going to outright say my thoughts:
I've thought ghug was a PR since D1, but the reasoning for that also makes sense from a scum!ghug opinion. I've wanted to flip one of Will/BB for multiple days and then ghug would've climbed up my suspicion significantly if we flipped town in that group.
I felt he was not engaging with my D1 "strategy" and was trying to distance himself. His posts have been somewhat towny to me. He's doing all the right things to me, but I don't disagree with the comments/observation from BB and Vecna atm.
If our 3rd PR had died, I'd be all-in on flipping ghug right now cause then my assessment of PR would be wrong.

Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
Yeah, I'm sorry - there is really good game evidence of ghug and I as scum together that invalidates this BB thought process.

worcej is probably just wrong.
Re: MAFIA 92 - The return of the Witchfinder General [GAME THREAD]
You make it sound as if we're frustrated with you. I think, if anything, you'd be better off being less emo about silly stuff and just play the game and accept people are going to scum you.
Anyways - You're votes, the only provable actions of intent outside of words, are incredibly easy to see the scum connection to Dip imho.
