I don't like worcej's plan (regardless of whether I'm on his list) and I think his picks are odd given his motivation (I think damo is actually more motivated to build consensus than most and Vecna's consistently low activity makes him less of that game-driving "good player" than me used to be). I think it's coming from a good place, though, and I think the questionableness of the logic is generally a sign that worcej is letting us see his real thought process.
I quoted this D1 but on re-read it sticks out to me so much I have to quote it again. It does not resemble a ghug post to me at all, and it feels almost “too kind” in how it handles disagreement with worcej.

I don’t think this could be town!ghug reacting to worcej. It feels like it must be scum!ghug either buddying or… doing something?… With a partner.

##VOTE ghug
this is actually insightful.

ghug also has mentioned my scumtell but not voted or pushed me at all.

Spirit, when you posted this, both Red and I HAD posted.

Can you explain how you ended up posting this? What was the process and the thinking? To me it’s difficult to believe this town/scum ranking is authentic because you clearly had not been paying attention to the game.
good catch food
spirit is pre-typing posts and posting them as if they're up to date
basically no reason for town to do this
This is a very very weird post.

How do you know this?
This reminds me a lot of D&W's BS with darg last game.

Bunny, what triggered you so hard about this? It seems like bozo must be your number 1 scum read?
A few things, and thank you for reminding me! scum!bozo slips through cracks...

the precision of the numbers "14 seconds" and "calculate 6 times" these are scum!bozo behaviors to seem accurate and scientific while feeling awkward for lying and not giving town his all on his mech (or one time doing so and helping town win).

##vote bozo
Interesting… on the other hand, bozo has a very dry sense of humour that sometimes seems like he is being serious. Personally I like bozo’s play so far and townlean him.
What has bozo done to make you feel that way?

Food what is your read on Dip and Bunny atm?
It stood out to me a lot that Dip was really concerned about the wagons when there were 30 hours to go. I’m not sure that’s scummy, though. But Dip is definitely null for me.

Bunny seems a bit amorphous. I know he has pled RL reasons. But I’m also definitely not sold on him being town.

I’m not super eager to vote out either of them right now. I straight up think I would never vote Dip right now even with him null. I would vote for Bunny over my town reads. But I think I’m back to:

His lines of questioning in a few places have been acute.

It could be faked, but right now I have a townlean on bozo.

By the way you can search old dip games in the bot by just searching among messages from diplomacy

I went to M1028 where he was mafia
http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?user=Diplomacy&g=1028

Very frantic, jumping from one idea to the next. His posts were alot longer and tried alot harder but I think the meta doesnt lie.

I'm probably gonna not be around all day.

Think worcej is probably town. Will likely is too if worcej is because he voted for him there at the end after defending him and there's no reason scum does that to town over another town.

I've been finding Dip irritating but I don't think it's actually scummy.
I've been finding Bunny not irritating which I do think is actually scummy.
Mimi is the foxcastle sort of new player we're going to be thanks to scumread if she is scum.

If I die kill bozo or ND because they deserve it.
What were you saying about mimi?

And you’re right, I’ve achieved my scumtell this game, but I think it’s because of the sabbatical.
Kind of disturbing that that sentence was totally illegible and nobody asked me about it until now...

I can't figure out what word I was trying to use, but we have a tendency to let competent and analytical new players get blanket townread regardless of their actual role. She's going to be hard to read and very liable to slip by, which scares me.
I have also worried about this with mimi because in some places she is very hedgy. But I remember when I first played I was very worried about getting it wrong and was hedgy town, whereas when I first played scum I was hyperfocused and detailed. So she has hit points on both sides of the spectrum… But in general I feel she is playing town.

He spent a large chunk of D1 peddling a theory that darg was editing his posts before posting them because there was a post with a double line break in it. It was terrible logic, they were both town, and it was a major factor in Dip getting miskilled.

VOTE COUNT 2.6

DiplomacyandWarfare (3) Brainbomb, Vecna, Justaguynamedwill
foodcoats (1) - SpiritoftheRadio
ND (1) - ghug
SpiritoftheRadio (1) DiplomacyandWarfare
DemonRHK (1) - ND
bozotheclown (1) - BunnyGo
JustAGuyNamedWill (1) - DemonRHK
Ghug (1) - foodcoats

Currently DiplomacyandWarfare is the most popular.

6 hours are left in the day.

bozotheclown, kingofthepirates, miminena, and worcej have not voted.
Worcej has not participated sufficiently and is earning the displeasure of the local magistrates.

GM NOTE: The PeterBot did not count Vecna's "D&W" vote, but I am counting it, because his voting intention was very clear.
Potato, potato; potato.

He hasn't had any lines of questions. That would require following up on the ones he's asked.

##VOTE bozo

I implore you all to reconsider ND. Killing him early has been effective in scaring him away from the community before and I'd really rather this not be a place where he feels empowered to spew his evil.

In the recruitment mafia game didnt he also do some horrible startegy where he wanted people to not play to their wincons because town was inevitably going to lose members also? And he got miskilled for it. Usually when hes town he has some hairbrained bad strategy that gets him under fire

Yeah that's what I'm u getting at here. I share others' incredulity at his play but think voting for him because of it would be a mistake.

on reread, it was ghug's votes that tilted me off yesterday morning (sketchy reasons i think it was?). but today it feels better, I was probably too harsh in my judgement back then. I also have no clue what's going on rn.

##vote dip

I think it's one of the more informative flips, others (by which i mean other voters) logic feels sound, and I have a slight hunch/theory that I hope to test.
