Just FYI - the total list of countries this person could have been born are Cabo Verde, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Comoros, Costa Rica, and Cuba. Everything else is on the map from page one.

Edit: Excepting an odd island here or there that I guess could be part of a place like China or Croatia but not on the map.

Living male Canadian?
No.

Born in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, or Bermuda?
I will also temporarily pass on this and remind you that you know the person was born in a country whose name begins with a C (so Bermuda is an impossible birthplace).

I lost track of the count of individual questions while doing a summary, but the gist of what we know so far is:

Location
Born in a country that starts with C, but not on a part of mainland Europe, Asia, or Africa, or Cyprus.
(This means the likely countries are Cabo Verde, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Comoros, Costa Rica, and Cuba, or an island not represented on the map on page 1).

Date
Born November 5, 1984 - August 8, 1999.

Fame
Primarily famous for entertainment.
Not primarily famous for politics.
Not primarily famous as a performing artist.
Not primarily famous for sports.
Not primarily known for writing something.

Misc.
First name (or only name) does not start with J, M, C, S, A, G, or T.
Not a living male Canadian.
Not Australian.
Not Donald Trump.
Not from Wuthering Heights.

Edit: could also be an ostrich whose historicity is in doubt, or fictional porpoise.

Spartaculous - Confused as to the passes on the location questions. I understand that the person is definitely not born in some of the listed countries like CAR, Mexico, or Bermuda, but knowing whether the person was born in Canada or Latin America for example would be helpful

I was passing on those questions, since I thought that the askers of those questions may have been misunderstanding or misinterpreting the state of what was known at that time, and I didn't want anyone to feel like a question was being wasted. I was intending for someone to reframe the question(s). If you want to narrow it down in that way, go ahead and ask a question, and I'll answer it.

Sorry for the confusion. I completely forgot about the map question.

Born in Canada?

By my count we have 2 questions left before #20

Clarification: Is performing arts being defined specifically in relation to a live audience, as it is on Wikipedia? Would acting for films, for example, count as performing arts?

I would generally count acting for films as being a performing artist.

Yes.

That's Q19, so time for free guesses.

Aristocrat: I have a clue I will give if necessary, but not until after Q20.

Clarification - I'm assuming musicians that go on tour are included as performing artists right?

Yes. This is question 20.

Here is a hint: I showed my wife this round and told her who I picked. This is someone my wife has definitely heard of. She protested, though, that I gave the wrong answer to this question:

Does this figure's first name, or only name if there is only one, start with J, M, C, S, A, G, or T?
No.
But I'm not changing my answer.

I can think of a lot of Colombian musicians but I’m not sure if any of them fit all the criteria.

I’ll guess Karol G.

Clarification based off this: Would a musician primarily known for recordings be considered a performing artist?
