I'm not sure who's an @admin around these parts anymore and I've forgotten how to ask, but could an admin please pause GR Challenge 2025 - Venkman ; gameID=1299443

We have a player with a death in the family and would like a pause until said player is available to play again.

Hi, Table 4 (Zeddemore) here, I clicked on the link you sent, but there was no place to put in a password and it says "Pre-game: Game is waiting to start". It doesn't feel like I've joined the game though, it doesn't show up in My Games. Any advice?

It's a nasty bug in the new (point-and-click) user interface. You need to use the legacy (dropdown menus) interface to join a game with an invite code.

On the home page go to Account > Settings and select the dropdown menus interface. Then follow the link to the game and you will be able to join. Once you joined you can choose the new interface again

Thanks. Our missing player for game 2 has spoken up and should be joining in a couple of days. I PM'ed the other missing remaining folks and we'll see what's up. Still quite a few days left.

In 15h Game 3 will be cancelled, caused by one missing player.

We will probably not find new players, and since game 4 is only half full, this is my proposal:

We wait until the game cancels. If it doesn't, everything is great, but realistically speaking it will cancel.
Then we make one table out of tables 3 and 4. Link and password will be send to the 7 highest ranking players, and it will be posted in this thread that it has been done so. Then we wait 3 days: If the game is full and starts, everything is great, but if not, and there are still n open positions, n additional players from the list will be given link and password, and it will be posted in this thread that this has been done (and so on).
Important: We should not use the complete list, but only the list of those players, that have currently joined tables 3 and 4.

Does this sound like a good idea?

My two cents... is that that is a good plan. I guess we over-reached with table 4!
