I think Dip's "follow" theory implies he IS TOWN. With that assumption let us look at each player in turn and determine their possible partners.

That's a stupid assumption.

He only revealed his "theory" that I was scum with StraightFlush, and was signalling to him (which I wasn't, it was just a typo), after StraightFlush had died and flipped town.

So he could come up with any old balderdash theory safe in the knowledge that his theory wouldn't be inspected or interrogated in detail because it was already demonstrably false when it was presented.

The fact his theory is bollocks (it was obviously a typo) is neither here nor there as is the fact he revealed after SF's death. The point is he made the coded posts before he came under any pressure. Ok he could have prepared it as scum-insurance but it's a tad elaborate and in any case the way he voted would be bizarre as scum.

Why would the way he voted be bizzare as scum?

Anyway this wasn't even addressing the actual issue in my post. You posted a vote summary which omitted Darg's actual vote for you, to make it look like I was the only person going to vote for you.

I was counting %% votes only. Darg is welcome to place a %% vote, but hasn't. If I counted real votes than, for example, if darg decided I was town the vote on me would still be counted. This is an illogical thing to do in this setup.

Real votes count more than anything else.

If I thought real votes were going to get us anywhere, I wouldn't have started this in the first place. Real votes cannot be changed and such, and I counted only %% votes because I was doing a %% votecount.
Also, by that logic, that real votecount matters more than my %% votecount, so clearly it doesn't matter anyways (according to your logic)

and also, I don't have to prove that what I was doing was perfect. It was simply a fairly logical option that I went with. You can see my latest votecount has darg's vote with an asterisk. I concede that your idea may be slightly better than mine, but not to the extent that me not using it is alignment-indicative.

I would sincerely like to understand why dip's post makes him town. I see it as more of his lick focus narratives. See a tiny thing and make it huge. At best, to me, this is NAI. But a town signal? I don't see it. Please explain.

Seems to me, that the most info avaliable from a DK is to remove me.

In that case, the match up I see more likely is jamie/red. But I don't see that. No interaction MIGHT be an indication... jamie feels town to me, too.

ghug - then why wait for Red to vote when voting food is a must, having declared ghug a scumread waiting just makes it look worse (which is Jamie and your take). I think waiting makes him look towny because he's avoiding scumRed tying it if food or ghug are scum
Bona - vaguely possible I suppose but having waited for Red why not then just vote ghug as previously indicated
Red - then why are they both waiting? Once ghug has voted they would be in control

Nope, I am confident dip is town.

If you are town then it's two from {Bona, Red, Jamie} BUT if it's {Bona,Red} then why did Red join Bona in voting ghug and leave Dip the opportunity to leave it as a tie, why not simply vote food. In fact I think waiting is a towny point in Red's favour. So, if it's not {Bona Red} Jamie MUST be scum (and probably more likely with Bona than Red.

I'm enjoying your change in opinion, I'll admit.

I really think Jamie's town. I think he'd have been more timid with his vote yesterday as scum, and I think his push on me and Dip today feels a lot more authentic than darg. I especially don't think they're partners as putting it all on the table to get Dip out today would leave them in a bad place to respond to vote swings and looking pretty suspicious if they did succeed in getting him killed. Bona and Red are both pretty purely null.

Unfortunately, the most likely outcome resulting from me and ghug voting darg at the moment is that red votes me and bona doesn't want to tie.
Therefore, I will wait and hope bona has something interesting to add to the discussion.

but at the very least, this is decent evidence to suggest I cannot be on a scumteam with bona or red
furthered by the fact that red tied and forced me to make that decision d1. Not exactly a situation a scum would want their teammate to be in
