Red is lurking, and I would be happy to pursue that if there weren't two likely maf pushing me. Weak sr
Damo is fairly active. The d1 vote on Red is decent too. Strong tr
Bona seemed quite towny to me d1 but has been largely writing filler today. Weak tr
ghug was suspicious d1, and the push on damo doesn't feel very logical. weak sr on that as well
I’m not lurking you just refuse to answer my questions
Why not both?
I don’t think I am really lurking right now

I think Dip's "follow" theory implies he IS TOWN. With that assumption let us look at each player in turn and determine their possible partners.

Darg - possibles ghug, Bona, Jamie, Red

however darg's willingness to be miskilled means that either he is town or his scum partner is off radar. I therefore reject ghug as a possible partner.

ghug - possibles darg, Jamie but darg has been rejected and Jamie's Dip/ghug push makes him unlikely so therefore ghug IS TOWN. I think his pointing out Dip's towniness for the 'follow' theory and his suspicion of me (which makes sense from a townghug pov) support this.

Bona - possibles darg, Jamie, Red

Jamie - possibles darg, ghug, Bona, Red - ghug rejected as per above.

Red - darg, Bona, Jamie

Summary of possible pairs

darg Bona
darg Jamie
darg Red
Bona Jamie
Bona Red
Jamie Red

(i.e any pair from {darg, Bona, Jamie, Red})

Of these I give slightly less weight to Bona/Red since they were on same wagon.

I'm now unsure which way to go.

I know Dip favours a darg/Jamie pairing.

@ghug if you put suspicion of me aside which pair from those 4 appeal to you most as scum.

@eachofthegangoffour which pair of the reamining 3 makes most sense to you as scumpair?

I would sincerely like to understand why dip's post makes him town. I see it as more of his lick focus narratives. See a tiny thing and make it huge. At best, to me, this is NAI. But a town signal? I don't see it. Please explain.

The rest of the post, damo, I understand.

Seems to me, that the most info avaliable from a DK is to remove me.

In that case, the match up I see more likely is jamie/red. But I don't see that. No interaction MIGHT be an indication... jamie feels town to me, too.

I am down a tunnel.

It is making it hard to see.

It's a lot of work to fabricate.

If Dip is scum who is his partner?

darg - no, you're voting him
ghug - then why wait for Red to vote when voting food is a must, having declared ghug a scumread waiting just makes it look worse (which is Jamie and your take). I think waiting makes him look towny because he's avoiding scumRed tying it if food or ghug are scum
Bona - vaguely possible I suppose but having waited for Red why not then just vote ghug as previously indicated
Red - then why are they both waiting? Once ghug has voted they would be in control

Nope, I am confident dip is town.

If you are town then it's two from {Bona, Red, Jamie} BUT if it's {Bona,Red} then why did Red join Bona in voting ghug and leave Dip the opportunity to leave it as a tie, why not simply vote food. In fact I think waiting is a towny point in Red's favour. So, if it's not {Bona Red} Jamie MUST be scum (and probably more likely with Bona than Red.

%%vote Jamie

I forgot to list J as a possible Dip partner but obviously most unlikely given day 1 vote and his case against Dip.

Another dip partner could be you... and you are working hard to save him.

Ok

I have the unique opportunity to relax here. My vote is on.

I will think through again damo.

Yes from ypov I could be a Dip partner working hard to defend but I excluded myself because I know I'm not. If he were scum with me then why not either not worry about waiting for Red and vote food to ensure a kill or once having waited why not ghug and avoid the pressure he's getting.

Sure. But it strikes me as a little odd that you present a reasonable town rallying post, but leave yourself out of it.

Writing to convince yourself instead of to persuade the room is not necessarily scummy... but it seems odd to me.

Dip&War trying to pretend I'm the only person on him, and therefore amplifying the Darg wagon, is really the final straw.

He also didn't answer me any further despite me pointing out his excuses do. not. stack. up.
How did this go from "actually dip I'm suspicious of you and I wasn't on food" to "I am clearly the only person dip is talking about"
I told you repeatedly it's not about the Foodcoats wagon, it's the decision NOT to vote Ghug. This is on record.
How does that prove that I was trying to act like you were the only person on me?
You are deflecting my questions

It is dip and ghug.

I don't mind dying to prove it.

We can afford this misskill.
I don't particularly object to flipping ghug either if we can get you afterwards if/when ghug flips town
Would you willing to vote ghug on the understanding that a scumflip would inevitably lead to you being the following day's kill? And a townflip probably meaning a dargkill.
Yes, that works for me

Ok thanks but I'm off ghug now. However others should take this on board to further dispel the dip/ghug theory.

I find it a bit odd that diplomacy and warfare STILL has yet to say why he waited so long to vote. He has noted many times that he had to make a rushed decision
At the end (after the food wagon) nothing I could do would change the situation other than tying (which is anti-town)
before that but AFTER I concluded that darg's "editing" was either NAI or autocorrect my best scumread was either you, jamie, or ghug. Jamie was voting me, so an apparently OMGUS vote would get nowhere. ghug was already a wagon and I was opposed to having a strong ghug wagon because I would be a likely counterwagon. For some reason everyone hates voting lurkers d1 so I knew a wagon on you would be useless

and all the way back when I thought darg was editing (which was scummy because darg denied doing it, hence proving darg was editing = prove darg was lying), I was trying to explain why it was a slip since outright voting darg for a reason nobody believed would just trigger a wagon on me

Why did you tie with under 5 minutes to EoD?

Yes and you had GHUG in the bottom group, the people you scumread the most. Foodcoats was not in that bottom group, he was in the middle group. AND YET - when it was a tie between Ghug and someone who was less of a suspect for you than Ghug, you somehow decided to vote to save Ghug.
A: I didn't like the ghug wagon because of the bona vote
B: ghug and food were literally right next to each other
C: (this is what ended up tiebreaking, as need I remind you red forced me to make a decision in those last 5 minutes) food had less posts than ghug
What made you change your Mind then
The fact that you tied
A tie is the second worst vote result (after me dying, of course)
so, as I said in the post you are quoting, faced with a choice between two nearly equal reads, I panicked and ended up going off postcount
