Can someone give me some meta info about Dip? 34 really rubs me the wrong way, I don't agree with the comparison he's making at all. In general I tend to be suspicious of try-too-hard players like he looks to be.

Dip pokes at this kind of thing as either alignment. (by 'this kind of thing' I mean making a mountain out of a mole hill.)

I think that town analysis may actually benefit from this single vote rule. Or, at least, it'll be a wash. There's a lot to parse in how, why and when a person votes in this setup.

I would say no, because scum can do a bang up job of looking like town in their posts… whereas I was thinking that scum really need to commit to bussing or not bussing in this setup. That said, thinking about it more, it’s not really any easier and indeed may be harder. I guess I was being overly optimistic.

And yes, I believe I had seen bona’s post. His silliness is NAI.

In fact, here's my analysis:
The decision that the 1-vote limit makes this more difficult for us town after considering my analogy of a postcap looks fairly natural. Town points for that.

On the other hand, my question deliberately went too ways. The first being reads on bona, and the second being whether or not bona's silly vote was evidence that 1-vote is definitely not going to help town.
Somehow food starting a conversation about this and then missing a chance to discuss it feels... vaguely off. Like if I (in the context of scumreading dargorygel heavily) was asked how that factors into my read of red, and I said that I thought Red and Damo were paired.

Secondly, town players definitely edit posts, but players writing quick, casual posts don't...
...and that's the vibe a lot of dargorygel's early posts went for, which, as can be seen, were likely edited. So which is more likely?
(a) dargorygel spent a lot of time writing a few posts, but was also writing in a casual, fast-paced tone
or
(b) dargorygel is trying to fake a casual tone for whatever reason (most reasons would imply, in turn, that dargorygel is scum)

"Hiya Red" is very casual, which seems like buddying.

"the one vote thing" is also very casual and... weirdly vague. "thing"?

there's a big gap where it looks like darg edited out some stuff. The odd thing about this is, the rest of the post looks casual and underdeveloped. The quick, casual style of writing does not fit logically with editing out a portion of it. Unless, of course, darg is intentionally trying to seem casual as part of a buddying scheme

also, who writes "diminish" and "Wadda you think" in the same post? Other than if you were going for two different vibes in your post, then edited out a bunch of it.

finally, the entire thing sort of... passively pushes at the enemy being the rules, and not the mafia

PS: Editing a post is normally NAI. Editing a seemingly casual post is what I find suspicious

Ok... I understand that you see something (that I, and I don't think anyone else sees... you simply state "clearly" I am editing... which sounds really odd to my ears because I know I am not editing. )

But what really is catching my eye is that weird OoG thing has become what you are hanging your investigative hat on. That has become for you something to 'heavily' scum read me for.

I still think it is NAI... but it is starting to swing me.

In general
I would vote for damo (his conclusion of his comments seems illogical, which is not like damo...), or straight (just vibes). I think bona, and ghug, and jamie are particularly town.

Food is playing well, reasonable, not going down rabbit trails. But I will wait for his conclusions to push him off null.

Jamie says he likes the one vote gimmick. I am not sure I do. VCA is more a part of my foundational thinking than perhaps i have been aware.
