G4 is interesting because no one has specifically given suggestions on settings. If I don't hear anything by later tonight, I'll probably set it up with 3 day long phases (both moves and builds), DSS, anon, 5 point bet, and a long time to "join" the game (since they start when all players join it can always go early). Will DM out the password to all players after I set the game up, will drop as soon as someone else joins.

For what it's worth, I'll be in a cave all weekend starting tomorrow, so I won't be able to look at this until Monday.

3day/1day, anon, WTA (I honestly don't care about points, so whatever), 2-3 graces. I dunno, what other settings are there and do we care about it?

Hidden draw votes or not, rulebook press. No one has voiced any strong opinions one way or the other on it for any game, I don't think.

All four games have been created. Will be PMing passwords shortly. All games have at least a 10-day join time, should give everybody time to get in and they'll start when fully joined. I will drop from G1, G3, and G4 as soon as I see someone else join.

...I got a question from someone who used one of the game links I posted but has the "point and click" interface as the default. Does anyone know if there's a way to enter the invite code/join from that UI? I have dropdowns as my default, but I temp switched it and I don't see a way to join...

Didn't see one, so I went to Account>Settings and turned on Dropdown menus there.

Yeah, it's a user setting and not a game setting.

Yes, point-and-click doesn't have a field where you can enter the invite code unfortunately.

As a side note, however, you can switch between the two interfaces without changing your settings: both UIs have a link to the other one. And anyhow, long live the dropdown menus

You're welcome! I had such a good experience in Yonni's 2023 version that I'm thinking of trying to make it an annual thing.

I don't see the link from point to click to dropdown in a game that hasn't started yet. Didn't seem to have the bottom right menu icon (pen?).

Another question from an old-timer... Why is it that the map has changed and the game page as well? Anyone remembers when? And, though I know this is highly unlikely, is there any chance of using the old interface or somehow lobbying with the mods to bring it back?

We have a player with a death in the family and would like a pause until said player is available to play again.

In case a mod comes across this, looks like the pause isn't needed after all.
