Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello

Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde
Oh, how did I not think of either of those. So ashamed.
Same, but slightly more obscure: Kimagure, Oikake, Machibuse, Otoboke

Also, game 2 folks, thinking *1* excused missed turn (as opposed to the 3 that other games have suggested) and a 5 point bet (points aren't the point here).

I’d be ok with 1 missed turn if we switch to 3 day phases (build retreat can be shorter). Otherwise hope to keep some leeway in case things get very busy. Thanks!!

3/1 sounds like it's ok with everyone so far.

Forget my other suggestions! This was my original idea that I was trying to remember.

If we're going with the Chaos Gods, I DEMAND to host the Slaanesh table.

Even though I broke up with 40k, I once created a Slaanesh Daemon army whose purpose was to both psyche out goodie-two-shoed opponents and appease my inner Doom Rider. It had less of a model count and more of a naughty-bit count. But like I said, we broke up.

Other options:
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, and Wolf
Dorothy, Blanche, Sophia, and Rose
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Peter Lawford
Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm, and The Thing
Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs
Venkman, Stantz, Spengler, and Zeddemore

Hello!

Just to signal I remain interested.

As for the rules of game 3, 2 or 3 days per phase are fine, full press or rulebook, shorter retreats and builds is ok, not having them is ok either. strongly in favour of WTA/DSS, as, apparently, everyone else. Not of a problem if not, but anonymous seems more elegant. Also, while I don't actually care about points, I must admit I liked the 101 bet games...

We can do anonymous, but I currently do not have 101 points, so we can not do that.

Since we’re getting some musical ideas, I must sing the song of my people and suggest Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer.

Hi! Been away for a bit but I am still down to join game 1.

I am down for similar rules to table 4 (2 day phases, 1 for retreats/builds, DSS scoring, 15 point bet, 3 delays, show draw votes). However maybe we should do anonymous to be safe? I think Theodoric is the only player on the list I've shared a game with but either way I think it would be a good idea to prevent any metagaming.
Bumping this, what do table 1 people think for these rules?

If you go back a few pages you'll see that some of our fellow contenders have proposed different rules/settings. I'm up for anything since I'm going to win anyway. Definitely WTA scoring though, yes! :zultar:

I think Yigg had proposed 3 day move phases, which would be nice. There's a new season of the Nexus tournament starting January 15th and I'll be sweatin' and try-hardin' and gettin' angry and talkin' smack over there and then inevitably getting crushed and dying and rage-quitting, so I'd love for this to be a refuge of peacenik Diplomacy.

I've begun to find anonymous games a bit dry and enjoy knowing who my fellow players are so I can lean into the social aspect more, but I understand most people prefer anonymous and won't complain.

I also wouldn't mind a bigger pot of fake Internet points to bolster my investment in the game with the possibility of wielding even more fake Internet points in my fake Internet boardgame bank account in the future, in order to demonstrate my awesomeness to the hordes of online Diplomacy plebeians and reassure them that they are my demonstrable inferior within the realm of valueless digital Diplomacy coins. In order to reinforce how high-brow and noble I am, I propose a 69 point bid.
