Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I suspect Red Neurax also, but my suspicion of ghug is not based only on his interaction with Red Neurax. My original theory is based on ghug and Vecna possibly distancing from each other.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 11:17 pmVecna bozo what are you doing
Ghug is pretty nicely town this game
@bozo do you think Red is mafia here? if you are banking this vote on if Ghug is paired with Red then why are you not voting Red?
Also Red is town so I still dont see the connection

To answer the question, I think new scum with that little game presence is going to be less bold about pressing their ideas.

I can eliminate myself. dargorygel voted for Just at some point each day, and vote for Red Neurax during D1 and D2, but they were not at risk of being DKed, so those could be distancing votes.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
This is not accurate, I was voting for Red Neurax D1and D2 until EOD. I think there is a good chance he is one of the mafia and I would vote for him today if there was any intertest, but there doesn't seem to be.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 4:01 pmThe strangest thing about Bozo is the fact that he consistently and constantly scumreading Red yet somehow never ends nor voted red. I think he’s only done so once
He also works around red being mafia to solve other’s alignments (ie ghug) and then just… doesn’t vote red?
Which is super sus

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
If we do that, though, we would be giving up the chance at being able to survive another mis-kill. If we get the mafia kill N4, it would be 4-2 D5, but we still would not be able to mis-kill, and would probably want to no-kill again to get to 3-2. We would get the information of a mafia reveal, though. However, if there is no mafia kill N4, we just end up at 4-3.Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 4:21 pm@everyone
we ofcourse have no clue how many phasers are left, but since scum is FORCED to kill tonight, we could just activate everything thats left to have a pretty good shot to kill scum with the phasers tonight.
I think this is a much better approach then taking a shot right now.
If we DK D4 and go for the mafia kill N4, we still have a chance if we mis-kill D4, because a mafia kill N4 would make it 3-2 D5, and the mafia choosing to no-kill again N4 would make it 4-3 D5.

Red Neurax is pressing DiplomacyandWarfare's ideas from D2.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:33 pmI think he was talking about the rest of us.

Yeah, I still think we're better off killing today, as much as I don't feel good about our ability to form a consensus.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:51 pmIf we do that, though, we would be giving up the chance at being able to survive another mis-kill. A lot of people have reached this conclusion independently.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:53 pmRed Neurax is pressing DiplomacyandWarfare's ideas from D2.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
It is a trade-off, but if we are going to maximize our chance of getting a mafia kill N4, I think going for a DK today is the better option, because if we mis-kill today, a mafia kill N4 or the mafia no-killing would get us to D5. Also, we could DK a mafia, which is obviously better than a no-kill.

You mean DiplomacyandWarfare's reads from D2?ghug wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:55 pmA lot of people have reached this conclusion independently.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:53 pmRed Neurax is pressing DiplomacyandWarfare's ideas from D2.

Maybe you are wrong about Bonatogether and the mafia are trying to bypass the bussing part.damo666 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 11:42 amI have further evidence Bona is town.
If Bona were scum and was daykilled then sure as eggs I would be miskilled the next day as we are so linked.
Therefore it would be obvious as scum to bus Bona into his grave.
The fact a Bona wagon is not taking off implies he is not scum.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I mean in theory yes, but would scum be so bold to do something as blatant as this? I feel like it would sort of work the other way; scum would be more likely to know what they did and how they did it with regards to votingbozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:05 pmYou mean dargorygel, not damo, and I have been following your discussion with him on it, but it did not seem likely to me that dargorygel would deliberately leave out one of his votes from his list. I reread his post, and he listed 26 of the final 27 votes, omitting that one vote. That would be bold to do that deliberately as mafia.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 10:59 pmthe one i described in one of my very big walls.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 10:43 pm
I don't know what disparity you are referring to here.
The one where damo did an entire vote analysis of the dip vs bona thing, but forgot his own vote, and claimed he never voted dip (the vote was in decently stark contradiction with his earlier reads throughout the day).
However, I do agree these dargorygel posts are suspicious:
dargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 1:36 pmWhy dip, particularly? I didn't vote him...Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 10:58 amIve done a bit of a deeper-dive into Darg in his Bona vs DIP devellopments;
Darg, can you explain why you felt Bona started to look better as d2 progressed? Maybe point at some specifics where his behaviour was more town indicative versus where it made you suspicious?
Your sudden change looked strange in a vacuum, since your only other reason for talking about dip earlier was you stating you liked the cases he was producing. It does seem coincidental to accidentally leave out one vote from a vote list that seems to be copied from the bot, and also not recollect that same vote.dargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 1:48 pmOh yeah... I did! I don't see it on the bot, interstingly.
I had come on, and saw the fight... and felt the peer pressure, maybe. Honestly, I don't recall what was in my head. So much so that apparently I blocked it from my memory.
It DOES make it look like I might have been protecting bona, though. I get that. As stated eariier, bona had been softening... and dip I guess not so much.

Phaser discussion is not good because with any discussion comes inferences about who has phasers/who is using phasers. So lets not discuss itmuch

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I have a feeling that we are all eventually going to argue against a no kill, squabble about who we should kill, then since nobody will be happy with the leading wagon, no kill will be chosen anyway
