Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
If y'all want to no kill you have to at least verbalize why you think it's a better choice.
You really don't think it's damo and Bozo, Vecna?

sorry to do this, because this is obviously what you already discussed as what could happen before the start, but can you give a ruling how many times scum can continue to NOKILL?
were there any scenarios where the nightkill becomes mandatory?

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
i aint got a fucking clue man, im totally lost this game.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
i probably made a lot of faulty assumptions and reads along the way.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
why arent you suspicious about me anyway ghug?
all my reads have been wrong and ive put 3 townies in the ground so far.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
My assumption is that they'd have to kill tonight since Bunny didn't change the standard must act rule, but I'll let him confirm.

The new insight is that he was way too nervous when I started digging into his connection to bona yesterday. He didnt feel excited at all that I started getting involved and digging.
He said it wasnt showing on the bot that he voted for DIP, but it is. He wrote a full on analysis of all votes between dip and bona, but forgot his own.
When confronted he stated he forgot all about his vote, that went against his entire reads leading upto that point. During d3 he kept hopping around up and down between bona and others.
As stated earlier, it can definately be seen as a towny being clueless and searching. Or he's the missing link in all this.
He is the one that was truely set up well to bus bona at every point in the game. He kept the option and the reasoning availlable, but when it really came down to it, he voted DIP while he had stated earlier he liked DIP's cases.
In hindsight - maybe he just hoped we would forget about that, because in a scum mind, that shit is DAMNING. In a black and white world, which our mafia games often are, that shit might just result in a death sentence.
Or maybe he's just flawed town. but my paranoia is at a 100, and my subconcious tells me he bad.

Dud you want me to jump up and down? My tone changed towards you, because you were finally acting like the vecna I know and love. You mived to town for me.
It's omgus, but I am no longer as sure.
You know how to play me when you are scum. But I think you pulled tge trigger a bit too soon.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I liked your late tie vote, mostly.
I'm also amplifying my townreads a little bit because I just have not been able to find purchase, and I'm a little embarrassed I tunneled you for two days on a misread of one word.
Damo and bona are actually scummy and darg and Bozo are big fat nothings. If I'm wrong to close the pool to those four, this game is probably just over.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I don't find your case that compelling. I don't find darg's response that compelling either.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 9:08 amVecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:26 ammy subconciousness told me it was darg while I was sleeping btw.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
you dont find it compelling that darg forgot he voted the person he had positive feelings about, while ignoring the wagon of his scumread?
you dont find it compelling that he thinks that post suddenly makes me likely scum again?

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
also its good to know that darg normally prides himself in having a hidden tell that reveals my allignment to him.
he's caught me with it twice I think, and he often talks about it.
but now ive suddenly fooled him out of nowhere while having a pretty valid concern in a world of weaksauce, while Ive been playing like my own town self more recently.
im not saying ive convinced myself fully, but in a game where theres hardly anything tangible to go on, id think that a factual person like darg (or BOZO, why the fuck has bozo not responded to this factual disparity) would understand people would be suspicious of his behaviour.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
anyways maybe i just being a big distraction and im totally wrong and its just bona and damo.
I really dont see damo as scum here, but its not like I ever read him correctly, and he's only been rolling scum lately anyway.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I think the former is a net negative, but not extremely so, because I'd expect scum darg to have a story ready, or at least concoct one.
The latter I think is actually kind of townie cause I'm a sucker for OMGUS.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
anyways if my suspicion is right that its actually you (ghug) and darg dumping on us, this game is comically lost anyway.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
even in a world where you did think i had 8 townreads on day1, I dont think thats enough of a reason for you to be tunneling me (which wasnt really a fair description of it to begin with I feel, because it was more opportunistic without conviction). You rode jamiet's coattails on it and were egging him on to do the dirty work.
The way darg sat on the sidelines during you and jamiet wagoning me also just felt like he was highly intrigued by what you were doing.
and in a world where you were righteously suspicious of me last game after I had shot scum, your recent townread also feels really easy.

lets test how much conviction bozo had in that connecting theory of his between you and red.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
If we miskill today and there is a no phaser NK we have lost. That's why I prefer no kill (especially as the most likely daykills (me and Bona) would be miskills (unless ofc I'm wrong about Bona).
However since 2 phaser deaths are unlikely I guess we gamble.
The Vecna ghug convo looks like 2 townies so my vote pool is darg, red, will, bozo.
##vote darg
I would prefer Red but doubt they'd get the votes.
