Based on frequency count after eliminating unlikely pairs. It hasn't worked before but there's always a first time. Main conclusion really is that Bona is very likely town.

Ok I came in ready to dunk on you but I read "I cant really read ghug and bona and red atm. Same for Bozo" as "I cant really read ghug and bona as red atm. Same for Bozo" and my reaction was "why the fuck is he townreading eight people". That's my bad.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 8:30 pmnot a lot to go on so far this game.
I have generally favorable feelings about; damo, darg and potentially also will/food/jamiet. Theres nothing really strong here whatsoever. for obvious reasons.
RDR is in his scum meta, based on very thin observations
Argent did that classic "new" scum thing of talking about how they should be able to play decently, but still trying to focus on how clueless they really are.
I could see D&W as scum I guess.
I cant really read ghug and bona and red atm. Same for Bozo
Why did you vote D&W at EoD? Did you realize you were causing a tie?

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I get that as a predisposition to scumread him. But it seemed that something with his voting (you said, "here " ) or maybe a recent post...Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:12 pmdid people already prod into jamiet why he was so gunhoe for getting the specific outcome he wanted?
Also, darg, ghug tried to kill me early game while I was absent. it was naughty and uncharacteristic. The reason he cited was also bullshit (claiming I had a townread on nearly the entire game, while in practise I had said I had decent feelings about 5 people, but that it wasnt strong at all).
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Can you talk me through why you're eliminating all of the Bona pairs?
Also, you should realize why assuming all the most likely people are paired together after doing this doesn't work. The people at the top of your list are there because you think they can be paired with a lot of different people. Nothing about that suggests they're more likely to be paired with each other.

Sorry for the double post... windstorm messing with interwebs.

Not all, most. He could be in a team with Jamie and Vecna for instance. From ypov (if town) I expect you'd have me as a possible pair with Bona but I don't since I know my alignment. I very much doubt you are scum with Bona due to EOD2 voting.

I realise this is just so happens the top three are a permissible triple hence 'stab'. I really have no strong idea at the moment.

I voted with like 2 or 3 minutes left. plenty of time by EoD shenanigan standards.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:39 pmOk I came in ready to dunk on you but I read "I cant really read ghug and bona and red atm. it was the mention stuff in combination with then also not reacting to my question that made me say that.dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:40 pmI get that as a predisposition to scumread him. If you genuinely wanna scumread someone and think your reasons are good, I find it problematic to believe you'd also miss one of the few posts the person you dont like for activity did make.
Anyway, the recent reaction from ghug at least sounds plausible wrt the misreading of my statement.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
(even so, I feel I townread a ton of people early game for weak reasons in loads of games - still a pretty bad reason to try to wagon me while im gone D1 and that was before my massive bout of inactivity).

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Cool, I wanted Will to answer too, but the night's end is approaching and nobody ever listens to me anyway:
I think risky tie votes are more likely to come from town. If Bona's scum, Will and Vecna both just tied themselves to him really really hard. If he's down, scum had no reason to care about the outcome. I'm moving them both to townreads, and I think I'm comfortable putting Red in that category as well.
I scumread bona and damo. Everyone else is null. Y'all need to obvtown better.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Data and Geordi moved with purpose through the Enterprise’s corridors toward Holodeck 2, where Lieutenant Reginald Barclay had been trapped for nearly a day. Tensions on the ship were already high, and the unusual, unpredictable malfunctions made everyone wary. But if anyone could get Barclay out, it was Data.
"Are you sure the holodeck systems are stable enough for us to safely attempt a rescue, Commander?" Data asked, his calm, precise voice as steady as ever.
"Stable is... well, probably the wrong word," Geordi said, forcing a smile. "But if we go in, bypass the affected protocols, and isolate Reggie’s location in the program, we should be able to manually shut it down from inside."
Data nodded, his gold eyes focused. "An efficient plan, Geordi. I anticipate a successful extraction."
They reached Holodeck 2, and Geordi keyed in his access codes. The doors opened with a faint hiss, and Data began to step forward, scanning the room. Geordi hesitated, glancing over his shoulder, and a strange, unreadable expression passed over his face.
“Data,” Geordi said quietly, “hold still a moment.”
Data turned his head slightly. “Geordi? Is there a problem?”
Without responding, Geordi moved swiftly behind Data, reached up, and placed his hand at the back of Data’s neck. In one fluid motion, he triggered the hidden shutdown switch. Data’s body locked up, his head slumping forward as his systems powered down.
Geordi let out a shaky breath, his hand lingering on Data’s shoulder. For a long moment, he simply stood there, staring at the android's inert form. "Geordi to the bridge," he said, his voice cool and steady. "Captain, there’s been an accident in Holodeck 2. Data is… offline."
Jamiet99uk has died. He was Data.
Day 3 has begun.
You may now post.
