Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
yeah i think it's a more strong protection than he has previously declared, as i said earlier, and it's not clear to me why new players merit that much protection. sometimes they're scum, and sometimes they're not. i haven't thought much about will but i could easily see it being poor townplaydargorygel wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 5:10 pmI did not notice how strongly Just declared his protection... 3 days?
An then... I don't see anywhere he DID any such protection. I might have missed it though.
Wondering if, because Just knew the newbies were town, he felt extra safe protecting them...
... and also, what scum would NOT want two newbies guaranteed still in the game on d3?

I'm not really casing Will, I'm saying it's very weird that he's been absent for 2+ real life days, which is something you suggested I look into. (You were drawing attention to people participating less than usual).

I can see bona aging at this very secondBonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 4:29 amthis might sound rich coming from me but i don't understand any player who started playing here in the recent past (sweet, will, dip) and a lot of their posts are annoying to me

I’d prefer Bona because Dip is making so much more content than Bona

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I mean in a sense argent is sort of right about the rdr thing. I did vote on the wagon to try and kickstart that because I wasn’t really happy with any of the wagons, so I tried getting a new one doneDiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 12:53 pmGuess who actually brought the rdr wagon to 4 votes (making it the biggest wagon)?
damo
As I have said before, damo tried to start wagons on dargorygel and jamiet... while bona was a top wagon. He switched to voting rdr (at 2:08 to EoD, not at the end) to tie off of bona. When bona was tied later, he brought the ghug wagon to 3 votes to take votes off of bona. Then after the ghug wagon failed, he voted me to add someone else to the tie.
Wait, actually, that one's interesting. Damo didn't vote for Red, which would have made red a leading wagon.
Anyways, the Vecna wagon was doing badly and unlikely to ever have more than 3 votes, and the tied wagon was bona, so damo switched to rdr... which caused a bandwagon.
When will voted, there was 1 other vote on rdr. That makes that wagon tied for 3rd place after will's vote. How exactly did they start the rdr wagon?

Who would you say is suspicious if true?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 2:34 pmMy initial suspicion was that his whole Doctor Who thing was a bit fake, but now my feelings come down to the EoD wagonomics I posted earlier (which you acknowledged). It looks to me like several people were desperate to motivate other wagons at EoD when D&W was a serious contender to be chopped.Red Neurax wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 1:52 pmwhat is the main reasoning for voting diplomacyandwarfare?
just curious

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Why are you voting me then? This argument hinges on Dip’s alignment and it doesn’t make sense to vote me when thats the caseargent wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 4:42 pmconsidering the fact that dip is defending will, and dip's likely scum, then will's probably there toodargorygel wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 3:59 pmHi Argent!
Can you expand on this accusation a little? Does being wrong often coincide with being scum in your experience?
and being wrong makes you more likely to be scum than being right
Vote Dip if you must, but ideally look at Bon

Ghug is townghug wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 5:23 pmIs there any conclusion to be drawn from argent blaming the first voter? I see how you'd get to that conclusion on your own even if I agree more with your analysis.DiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 12:53 pmGuess who actually brought the rdr wagon to 4 votes (making it the biggest wagon)?

Also are you saying you dont agree damo is scum? This is worded weirdly

I think Red is quite alrightbozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 5:57 pmBased on the latest posts from Red Neurax, I believe that he does not have much experience with mafia. However, he still has not provided an explanation for these posts:
At the time Red Neurax made those posts, foodcoats and I were voting for him, but DiplomacyandWarfare had only mentioned him once:
I suspect Red Neurax was fabricating a reason to join an existing wagon.DiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 2:05 pmJamiet's vote on me is apparently because I have apparently been lurking. Fair.
Foodcoat's vote on Red is based on lurking. Fair
ghug... still has a joke vote out???
dargogrygel thinks there's a ghug/bona connection, which I am skeptical of because I tr ghug
damo... claims to have solved d1???
Bonatogether also has a joke vote out
wait
the two people who dargorygel thinks are linked have both kept out early joke votes and made low-quality, 1-2 sentence posts.
##vote bonatogether
##VOTE Red Neurax
If I had zero experience with mafia I think id probabbly do the same thing. In fact i think its towny
‘I am town and this guy wants me dead so this guy may be mafia’
So town points, but I like bozo’s analysis
