Jamiet; felt like usual town-jamiet d1, but his recent tone just feels like he's thrashing around to find reasons to scumread people. Not nessacerily scum-indicative, but it feels hostile. His characterisation of my lie-detector joke to poke at RDR being labelled as "calling him a liar" just seems like a weird characterization. The way he attacked red also feels overly aggressive, like he's perceiving us as the enemy and is on a search and destroy mission looking for targets.

Two things here that I want to respond to:

1. You did the "lie detector" post about Rdr, and then you voted for him, and then you left your vote there all day. So yes it did look like you called him a liar and that was the reason for your vote. Care to explain why you actually scumread him, if I apparently got this wrong?

2. When did I "aggressively" "attack" Red Neurax. This feels like fabrication. I haven't been overly aggressive or unreasonable towards Red at any point; I pressure voted them to encourage participation. That's not undue aggression and it looks like you're protecting Red here for some reason.

I criticised both Red and Argent for lack of participation and I warned that I'd vote them if they continued lurking. I don't think that's unreasonable and you know damn well I'd treat everyone the same in that regard.

these are DaW's only two serious posts in the first 40 hours of this game, in which he changes his reads based on...someone else's pairing? it's really not clear why he towns darg so much, or why darg is necessarily right. he can't even keep it internally coherent within the post, and it's all in service of pushing me up to 3 votes above everyone else. It's notable that he would briefly switch to rdr but would leave that wagon to return to voting me, even as rdr's wagon ran away to a bajillion votes.

first of all, I would have publicly and very loudly agreed, and then not used my phaser during the first night (assuming the rules were NOT changed to make the kill optional) on the assumption that maf would not kill me given I was publicly agreeing.

as for the actual post, this is towny for obvious reasons. Granted, it could be that darg was trying to take initiative to get townread early, but this day is so slow that I fail to see maf actually trying to get anything done when it would be easy to blend in with the low-quality posters.

So the thing about damo's no-kill vote is that it's not much of a stretch to reach the conclusion that we aren't getting anywhere, and I don't see damo playing like this as town. If damo is scum, though, this is probably an effort to waste time rather than a genuine attempt to get a no-kill vote d1. Scumread, but not going to vote here because the bona wagon is also good and already has 3 votes.

at this point in time, DaW has not articulated any reason for why I am scum beyond sheeping darg. why not vote an organic scumread vs some scumread someone else created?

this is the first time that DaW can come up with a reason for why he's voting me. again, he's a 3rd vote on me, pushing me into the lead. this is extremely poor reasoning that could apply to like half the game. why join the bandwagon?

DaW then has an extended freakout when damo starts going for him. once him, i, red, and jimmit all vote him, he flips back to rdr immediately as an open self-pres vote.

he wallposts against/(with?) will but doesn't engage with any of will's posts, so he doesn't come up with any read. why even bother if you're not going to put in the work?

he townreads darg for 'asking questions', and he has different stats about this like questions per post and per word and whatever, and it's like, this doesn't show anything? he doesn't connect this to why scum!darg wouldn't ask questions, or to why town!darg would ask more questions. no substance evident here.
