Unsent messages in "Outbox" cannot be deleted
Hi,
I have a message in my "Outbox" in the messaging system which has been there since 2022, to a user who is now inactive.
I would like to delete it.
When I mark it for deletion, I get this error message:
"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

Try using whiteout.
(I'll bring it up to the development team, seriously.)

There isn't a "whiteout" option so I'm not sure what you mean, Darg.

Step One: Purchase some "whiteout" at an office supply store. (I THINK it still exists)Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 9:09 amThere isn't a "whiteout" option so I'm not sure what you mean, Darg.
Step Two: When you notice that old unopened message, use the whiteout to paint over it on your computer screen.
Step Three: It no longer is visible to annoy you!
How could this go wrong?

Sorry Darg but this reminds me of that old joke.
US people kept the English word "pavement" for a while but they were often hit by cars. So they switched to "sidewalk" and finally understood they needed to walk by the side

We USians do still use "pavement" to reference any paved/non-dirt surface (well, at least where I grew up). A forest path that's paved, for example, is still pavement. Although, now that I think about it, "pavement" tends to be used more to reference asphalt as opposed to concrete, but I've used it for both.
