Trying to save your teammates D1 is a high likely thing to appeal to all scum to just quickly and easily sweep this game. Its the easiest most effective path to victory.

Tried to charm ghug into not voting yoyo.

We can try to find some mastermind strategy in that where he predicted he would die early, and that town would go chase down his rabbithole, but its much more likely he just wanted to save a teammate with a loaded gun.

What are you seeing in Yoyo that’s making you go this way? I’m super on the fence with him. I could understand the wagon on D1 because of the inactivity. But is there something in particular that’s standing out? I’m re-reading his stuff and nothing sticks out.

It would be pretty foolish to base anything off of Balki pushes as he did not push glitter he did not push ghug, damo, bunny, chaqa, or a litany of other people either.

I think ghug was the right place to push; and after that id probably only consider bunny today.

Both seem to fit the profile of hollow agency scum heuristic.

The Agenda of Mafia

Finding out what a players motivations are is pivotal in being able to discern their alignment. If we are not able to accurately identify posts with a sinister motive behind them, everything else is vibes, baseless theory, speculation, gamblers fallacies, or relying too much on some minor indiscretion to pick at.

Mafia do have an agenda, that agenda is to remove enough town roadblocks to be able to reach a win. Most mafia teams know in advance when a pathway to victory opens, and they know this by the general thread vibe. Early game is the critical point of a game where mafia has to guard the nest the most. And yet, mafia losing members early forces an early agenda that tends to be natural, improvised and even nastier to unearth.

Most commonly if a mafia is going down early, the rest of the mafia profit from two arguments:
Multiple Mafia were “bussing” their own member
The Mafia were caught flat footed

As town, finding out which agenda is true requires a lot of careful rereading. Mafia typically have not yet spoken to each other day 1, in fact sometimes they dont even know each others role yet, or most challenging, they may not even know who each other are in some extreme games.

To unearth the Agenda, you cannot let your biases be altered, even by a positive kill of mafia early game. Exonerations can be a deathknell to progress

If yoyo is mafia then scum day 1 had a clear choice
Bus yoyo or bury will. If bunny and balki are scum day 1 they are locked in on will because they risk exposure by moving off. They are caught flat footed.

If ghug is scum with yoyo then ghug can choose to join balki or bus or stay on a vanity wagon. Ghug doesnt “bus” yoyo here because the will wagon is much larger. But scum ghug probably would encourage or push to bus yoyo in a more normal setup, I think?

I dont think yoyo and ghug are mafia together based on this. I also dont think damo is mafia with ghug either.

The most sensible pairs are still bunny being scum with yoyo if thats actually a thing because bunny was frozen on will; and would not have bussed yoyo there. Or if it isnt bunny then it makes sense its ghug and glitter or yoyo and glitter

Balki buddies me every game we’re in. He even told me he loved me in one of them. You’re also overlooking the possibility that because he’s scum, he could be buddying people to stay under the radar, and create false connections.

I don’t see scum as having any urgency there. Nor any need to move or feel trapped.

Also, (from my POV) unless it’s glitter-Yoyo then indeed no two scum were on the same wagon.

I think that assuming yoyo is town then the reason why mafia chose will was that will was barking up one of their trees at some minimum.

Glitter is weird for pointing out shes a ‘newbie and learning’ on something that clearly doens’t really have anything to do with the game

Also Brain i know you’d feel naturally inclined to defend Glitter but I think Glitter needs to explain how they operate this game on their own in order for us to fairly assess them

buddying is talking to people to try and influence them.

he never talked to you. but he was buddying plenty of other people.

its still true he could do it to make you look bad in case he would die. but he was under no real threat, and this setup is prone to end very early.

Wills posts are pretty transparently from a scum mindset. He is promoting flip flops now and pushing for people to stay alive who he actively scumreads. There is no justification or strategy to keep people alive and run gambits if you think someone is mafia.

The number I announced at the start of the phase was, as per the setup info, the number of TOWN players, left alive at that moment, who had picked "Rose" and not "Gun".

No information is provided about which days those Roses were set to activate, or whether any had already activated on N1, etc.
