OUTCOME OF DAY ONE

A crowd of teenagers lined the Strip outside the Rainbow and Gazzarri's, cheering as two flashy, angular, gas-guzzling, high-powered coupés revved their engines and took turns speeding up and down the road, doing burnouts, and generally creating mild havoc. Among the crowd of rowdy teens with their denim and leather duds and outrageous hairstyles, a few older men tried to fit in, wearing suit jackets with the sleeves rolled up, over almost identical “Steppenwolf” t-shirts they might have bought from Macy’s.

One of the cars, a bright red DeTomaso Pantera, roared to the end of the street, turned around, and started to speed back towards the crowd, pedal to the metal, aiming to pass them at impressive speed.

Suddenly, the sports car careered toward the curb, losing control, veering from side to side across the boulevard with a squeal of rubber as the screaming teens ran and dived out of the way. It flipped over the central reservation, coming to rest in a cloud of debris and dust.

A siren wailed in the distance. The suspect-looking executives were nowhere to be seen.

Teenage girls wept as a body was hauled from the smoking wreckage.

JUSTAGUYNAMEDWILL has died. He was Vince Neil (of Motley Crue), a member of the TOWN.

as I said in discord when I joined the game, I'm in my first year of university teaching and am under an intense load. I'm posting when I can and staying read up on breaks, but I can't justify deep dives when I really oughta be doing work stuff. This is off meta you are right, but I did say that was gunna happen before roles went out.

What do you teach? I'm not teaching this semester for the first time in a decade or so.
