I agree! And that’s what I’ve been saying! But apparently you and I are some of the only ones annoyed by it because of how it doesn’t help us. I personally witnessed this in the last game and inactivity caused a lot of issues (and I believe almost all of the super inactives were town).

So I ask this… is it better for us to vote for someone who is likely on a track to be mod killed because of not posting the required amount? If we go with what you’re thinking and vote Flavius out for instance, but he ends up town, and he would have been modkilled anyway, we save losing more town all at once?

The more I sit with this, the more I think it’s in the best interest of town.

How would I say my games with BrainBomb are? No clue! This is the first one! So I am kinda figuring it out as I go. I’m definitely biased, I know that. But I’ve been trying to keep an open mind. At first I appreciated Bunny’s perspective on why he was suspicious of Bb but then I didn’t really understand how it blew up so much yesterday. Circling around him seemed like a distraction when he flat out said he was gonna go rose. I get he could be lying. But there are others who said they’re going gun. And those seem to have been paid little attention, or at least yesterday.

Im not sure if bunny is voting me for going rose. I was always going rose regardless due to how the last game with this setup went. I thought his argument was that I was awkward, uptight, and a variety of other negative adjectives that usually you would see in the earliest phase of a game.

the hammer comment was tongue in cheek, i didnt actually hammer and like 1/4 of the game hadnt posted so i wasnt going to do that. My only read on will is that he is acting like how I remember when he's town. He is frequently scum read by people falsely. If he is scum, he will reveal himself. Or maybe will has gotten better since he was a noob last i played with him. Either way, I'm not moving much off null for him. I just town read him ironically (and said this explicitly in my reads post) to watch you dig into it as a position after you mentioned it, which you have.

I dunno if this can even happen by the rules, but if I died today and was the only one who chose rose and jamie handed the mafia the win, I would feel I won too. There is like a special award to get for being mafia MVP as town, it happens somewhat often in these games

I actually picked a rose, pilgrim. Not going to say the day/night. I figure it makes me slightly less of a target for a night kill for the first night or two when guns will be going off.

I don't have as much interesting data as I would have hoped to share tonight. Interest in the coordinated strategy seems minimal, so I decided to change my efforts to something else.

I think that we should be focusing more attention on the non-posters. Right now, that's damo, Yoyoyozo, and Flav. Is the fact that they haven't posted yet mafia-indicative?

I went back and looked at 25 of damo's games. (I could have done more, but this felt like a big enough sample size.) He's a chronically slow poster on Day 1. Here's a chart of the number of hours after game start before his first post, along with his alignment in each:

This post seems to come from a wolf perspective. The perspective of needing to generate multiple miskills, rather than the town perspective of needing to hit that first wolf.

The thing is I do have a scumread on brain rn. He just has made a ton of factual errors (pot kettle) in his analysis which is not normal for him and is acting strange
