Id wager only one mafia is actually voting me and a variety of people on me feel better about each other than they do about me Actually being scum. I think its a shared trust among some of my voters which probably means only one mafia is embedded there.

People on the sidelines in this matter like balki, glitter, sparta are immediately sus for having minimal interest in driving something. The case on flavius now is fairly null and void as hes active.

There havent been any wagons driven on anyone but me today unless you count the early ones like vecna and bunny. Those seem more likely to have had scum on those now as well.

I think that we should be focusing more attention on the non-posters. Right now, that's damo, Yoyoyozo, and Flav. Is the fact that they haven't posted yet mafia-indicative?

I went back and looked at 25 of damo's games. (I could have done more, but this felt like a big enough sample size.) He's a chronically slow poster on Day 1. Here's a chart of the number of hours after game start before his first post, along with his alignment in each:

This is weird for me because of obvious reasons, but I’m trying to stay as objective as possible. Bunny threw out why he’s suspicious of Brain because of the way he’s posting. That was early early though. Doesn’t seem things got much better between the two of them. Fair - I’m not used to how he posts, you all are. But other than him, what/who else are we considering at this point? I’ve liked the “food for thought” questions Brain has been posting but few are answering them, including myself.

Coming in from a perspective that doesn’t know people’s metas is actually something REALLY useful ppl like to hide behind their metas so IMO just play like normal…also Brain posts A LOT of food for thought stuff just gotta give ppl time to answer

in all seriousness, this is a real read. I got got last time because you seemed SO town, but like... that's not you this game at all. Not sure if you did that because you were the only scum that game and it rode on you, because you normally fuck around and get scum read regardless of alignment. This doesn't seem like fucking around though, it seems a bit too reactive and it doesn't feel right. The bb I know would let worecj and the others scum reads roll of their back like water. But you're not. You're acting defensive and scum hunting at straws.

This sort of translates that when I flip town you want all of this to be blamed on worcej and not bunny

So you’re just complacently throwing out that you’re going to kill town - but what are you doing to try to avoid that? Wondering on Balki, I know when he is mafia he picks a person to make a case against and then tries to sit on that. In M89 it was foxcastle and then he did it again in that beehive game against Eden. So it hasnt escaped me that Balki could be just using his scum playbook vs sparta here.

Still havent seen enough from Balki that tells me he wants to find more townreads and actually build a coalition

I’ve actually been thinking about Sparta’s third-person story way more than is normal since he posted it. It’s just floating around in my brain.

It makes sense to me. Especially the part where he focused on the mechanics before the game started, and he was eager to jump in and discuss that with others. Hence his Steve Buscemi comment. And hence his probability numbers post.

I could see that progression from either alignment.

3. BunnyGo - has posted a good amount and seems extremely skeptical of me. Null but activity is more in par with his town meta. Has refused to engage with me and actively dismissed efforts to discuss the game with me. Was begging to talk to anyone but me and became very rude and shut down all efforts to talk. Slight scumlean but probably not scum with ghug or anyone voting me if hes even scum.

4. Glitterbomb - null, I find the push on chaqa and sparta to display signs of finding scumreads in the margins rather than taking high risks.

5. Chaqa - has posted and pledged he will Shoot someone; worcej found that towny. Seems to think its stupid that anyone would scumread him. Scumlean but not likely to be on a shared team with bunny and ghug.

6. damo - oddly arrived to defend me which he never does. Null

Wills posts are pretty transparently from a scum mindset. He is promoting flip flops now and pushing for people to stay alive who he actively scumreads. There is no justification or strategy to keep people alive and run gambits if you think someone is mafia.
