Part of my frustration was that we don't know if our PRs are Town or Mafia.

And Bunny whips out this lie and nobody bats an eyelash and they all say I am Mafia.

A big part of being Mafia is making yourself look Town. Town don't need to fit into an arbitrary set of guidelines to be Town. Town does need to find their teammates and work together as much as possible though.

Ultimately, as far as I can see, Bunny's lie has only distracted us from solving for today. It has cast suspicion on him and myself and it may cause damo to go free.

I need to look at the game with fresh eyes. Colby is definitely Town, his reaction here continues to be Townie.

Worcej also looks fine to me.

I don't think my assessment of Glitterbomb will be changed at all by this.

A big part of being Mafia is making yourself look Town. Town don't need to fit into an arbitrary set of guidelines to be Town. Town does need to find their teammates and work together as much as possible though.

IF bunny is town maybe they get something out of this by finding their teammates or whatever but I don’t think it helps anyone else in the game

I’m amazed how many people seemed to believe me (Flum seemed to be anticipating a gambit and bozo is always cautious like this).

Colby seemed quite credulous. Worcej too.

I was wondering if sweet was scum. I figured if he were, he’d be the most likely used to Hamilton (since couldn’t be watched even if town!damo saved) and I’d been town leaning him and he’d been buddying me.

So I wanted a reaction test of everyone.

Sweet failed with his first post and then tried to recover.

Everyone else was about as expected.

Flum seemed to know what was up and amplify it. Towny for that.

Ghug seemed to buy it.

So let's be clear. Your theory (I'll just assume you are Town for the sake of this) is that scum sweetandcool performed the NK on Ham, and that when you made your fake claim that you had tracked sweetandcool to Ham, that sweetandcool panicked and figured he was sunk and made a joke, before rebounding a minute later and going back to pretending to be Town?

I think it's preposterous. If that scenario were true, rather than making that joke I totally would have gone silent and waited to see if I could salvage the situation. Instead I posted immediately (snip)

Oh dear, I have been a bit stupid.

Bunny alluded to this point when railing at damo, but I think it's worth considering all the nasty things Mafia could have done while in PR positions. I think in the end this only applies to damo, since I think our other PRs are either flipped our obvtown or Bozo. But it's definitely worth a critical examination of the type of plays Mafia could have gone for, particularly when damo got the gun.

I was like 95% certain it was a reaction test lol.

Sweet's reaction wasn't great. If he town read you, I would have thought he'd assume you'd be reaction testing too like bozo pointed out.

Ghug's reaction was also really bad. There is no way he didn't know you were reaction testing so he was likely just pretending to fully believe it so he'd look good after the fact. Unless you really did correctly guess Sweet made the kill in which case Ghug still looks bad throwing him under the bus so quickly.

Agreed. I am doubting my scum lean on Col7by a bit because the “scum slip” seemed so obvious. Sweet has been sooooo aggressive and also super protective of Col7by. So I’m wondering if they could both be mafia.
