I don't think we're getting anything more interesting at this point out of withholding and people will be submitting rosters soon and can probably use some time to digest.

I tracked bozo last night. I figured that was a better use of a track than a low percentage play at hitting the specific mafia doing the kill (especially since even that could have been bozo). I saw him visit two people, the identities of whom I have crumbed.

I'll let bozo reveal for himself what he saw, but I'll do it myself later if he hasn't and nobody has presented a compelling reason not to. I will tell you two things, however:
1. He did not visit Jamie.
2. He did not visit me.

The latter point leaves me reasonably confident he's town. There was thread sentiment around protecting me being the correct play (I recall a conversation I had with Will during the night but also general discussion of the superpower strategy during day 1). I can see the utility of not doing that as a townie: I'm an unlikely target, and it gives a shot at saving someone else. It looks pretty bad for him if I do die, but that's a calculated risk. If he's scum, though, he knows there's a chance I could track him, and the doc visit isn't doing anything unless he thinks I'm going to shoot his partner, so why not just throw it away on me?

I feel more clear about the night results and town-lean both of you now.

I wouldn’t auto-lock either of you as town. If bozo is mafia his scum teammates would be more likely to perform any kill than him to prevent a track catching him.

What influenced your PR choices?

Glitterbomb is a new player and it would be hard for scum to predict where Glitter will watch since she's got a pretty fresh meta. It also gives her a chance to prove herself if she's town and give her some fun for a second game.

Damo I'm returning the favour, and I think I can trust him with the JOAT powers for now. He has fooled me in the past though.

Will because I'm pretty sure he's town and he asked for it.

That's not the point. The point is that bozo's motivation to do something else is very low if he's scum.

Maybe it’s just me but bozo as felt like they’re really trying to control this game a lot which feels scum to me. Now could be playing hero town ball idk but I just don’t recall bozo having this much influence in past games.

Yes!!! Both are super active, vocal and very opinionated on approach. That was my entire reasoning for originally scum reading Bunny. But I’m definitely town reading Bozo right now after catching up on everything.

Ok fair. But also, if literally half of the players in this game have said they find all of the rules and mechanics confusing, how on earth do you think I feel with it being my second game? I know people told me I played up the “I’m new” thing too much last time but when folks start talking about all of these complexities, I really am learning by taking it all in. If there’s a different approach I should be taking to learn then by all means, let me know. Otherwise, I just don’t see how these games are super welcoming to new folks. I’m trying here and all I’m responding to is now fluff apparently and nothing of value which makes me hard not to scum read? That’s frustrating. Interested to see how the night goes.

Making yourself open and honest and complete so we can easily townread you matters a lot. Whatever that is for you (all of us do it differently, but some of us do it better than others)

Clearly finding scum and stating it and (as just and I mentioned earlier) finding town and stating it is what matters.

I'm Bunny (that's ME!)

I'm an arrogant former mathematician with a chip on my shoulder. I was a pretty good teacher, and pretty good researcher and problem solver, and a lousy writer. Now I work finance.

I'm also a former card game junkie. Played a LOT of bridge really well. Pride myself on being silly, open, and mostly having fun while taking games VERY seriously (while pretending it's all just for fun...because it is...really it is). I got a reputation here early for looking for ANY edge I could find, but have dropped a lot of that lately because it wasn't the fun or right way to be playing.

I got a reputation here early for being able to spam BS as scum as much as I can as town and do it well enough to win a bunch of scum games early; but I've only played scum once in recent memory and it didn't go too great for me (I think? I don't remember).

When I have the time, I'm always reading on my cell or laptop. But when I'm busy, I fall behind. Like now...

Oh, and I started playing here because I played a bunch of diplomacy and stumbled across this.

I played f2f mafia with friends all through middle and high school in the <cough cough>'s and didn't think it was even possible to play text only; that scum would just always win. I enjoy it so much I introduced it at work.

Ok, answering this again as best I can (I feel like I’ve already done this in various ways)…

I am a glitter loving girly girl who adores football and fishing. I love crafting and playing with my kids. I’m married to brain which I think most know. We went to high school together and reconnected 17 years later. Got married and had a baby during the course of covid, she just turned 3. Baby #2 came this February and has a variety of health challenges that he brought along for the ride. That has meant fighting with the government, advocating, composing a team of over 10 different medical specialists, frequent OT and oral therapy appointments, etc. Even things like a common cold can be disastrous for our little guy - the last one landed him in the hospital on brains and my wedding anniversary. But we know it’s just a date and he is who mattered. He’s fine now and is truly just the happiest little man who brings so much light into our world.

For 17 years I worked in higher ed and when passed up for a promotion I felt I deserved and worked for, I left the field and went into finance/banking as a project manager. That was over two years ago now. I get to work remotely a few days a week which I love but the job is still high pressure. I have two masters degrees - the last one is in critical and creative thinking. So I truly enjoy things like this game. Thinking outside of the box, etc. At one point I was in charge of strategic planning in the Chancellor’s office of the university I worked at and I also worked for an elected official who oversaw the university system, focusing on strategy and planning.

When the tv is on and I’m in charge of the remote, Hallmark or true crime will undoubtedly be on the screen! I tend to watch a lot of the ones about family members and spouses that turn on you, so I’ve definitely become paranoid (not afraid of Brain but afraid of getting too chummy with people on here bc my luck they’d be the mafia).

My typical go-to on trying something new like this would be deferring to brain as a coach of sorts (obviously not breaking rules). But especially given his involvement in the ones I’ve participated in, we’ve put up a full-on Chinese wall so to speak and we don’t talk about the games I’ve been in. So I’ve googled and looked at the terms docs and such, but every game seems soooo much different from the next that it’s hard to feel like I’ve got a grasp on things. So even things like info in the bot is super helpful - thank you!

Why did you choose Kakarroto over TFB for the DK vote?

I had no reason to want to vote TFB; kaka’s posts didn’t seem like the town!kaka I know. But at this point I’m actually just worried about our friend not showing up.

You said Kakarroto's "posts", but at the time you entered that roster, Kakarroto had only posted once. Can you elaborate on how that one post differed from what you would expect from Kakarroto as town?

Did you ever get an answer on this? I’m not seeing it…. Yet several other posts from Bunny on other topics. It’s super curious as to his answer.

I can confirm that I did not visit Jamie or ghug. I don't think it is necessary to reveal who I targeted, but I am confident ghug was the tracker who tracked me, so he can reveal my targets if he thinks there is a reason to.

ghug has more or less told us your targets and I can guess which way you targeted as one is a townread and one a scumread. I see no harm in sharing. Both are town (imo).
