Greetings! The delegation of the Kaiser is eager to begin negotiations. As Russia said, I am open to any proposed alliances.

To start with, Italy and Austria - the German nation is committed to peace in Central Europe. I suggest we all avoid the alpine beauty of Tyrolia for now, and not get bogged down in some senseless warfare between neighbors.

As for France - perhaps we can DMZ your lovely province of Burgundy? Wouldn’t want those vineyards to get trampled.

And Russia - with so many neighbors each, I think it best if we DMZ Prussia and Silesia. No need to create enemies where none exist.

To the Kaiser - the DMZ is approved for Prussia and Silesia. How shall we divvy up Sweden? Unfortunately we cannot share Stockholm. I consider the Swedes rightful subjects of the Russian crown, as a general policy, but am wondering what your thoughts are in the North.

Austria - bounce in Galicia?

Turkey - I trust no Crusher will strike from the Black Sea? How about a bounce for spring?

England - thoughts about Scandinavia?

Czar Porg

Hello, everyone! I'm currently in Italy and I'm open to negotiating with all other nations. In the first year, I plan to remain neutral and only take Tunis for myself.

Firstly, in response to Germany: I agree with your proposal to keep Tyrolia as a demilitarized zone (DMZ). To Austria, I hope we can establish the same.

To France, let's also agree to keep Piedmont as a DMZ. There's no need for us to start conflict at this point.

To the Kaiser,
I believe that a DMZ in Burgundy would be swell. On another note (This is also to the English), who should be the one to get Belgium? I, of course, want it for myself, but if anyone has other ideas, the French are open to proposals.
Kindest Regards,
The President of France, Pengwinja

To Russia - My generals have quite the fondness for Kriegspiel. In their wargaming, they have found the issue of who gets Sweden to be especially contentious. I will wait and see how the opening moves by our generals turn out before deciding. In the meantime, I will be sending my fleet to Denmark to watch how the situation develops - I hope this is agreeable.

To France - Belgium is another contentious issue that has come up in wargames past. I think we should let the Belgians keep their sovereignty for at least one year more, and go for a bounce in fall. Perhaps your troops can enjoy a seaside stroll to Picardy, while mine inspect the factories of the Ruhr Valley?

To the Kaiser,
I believe that the English will have their own desires for Belgium, but if they do not interfere, I am fine with a bounce in Belgium. Do your “wargames” show what happen with the British? I was never fond of said imaginary conflicts, I highly doubt that they can resolve anything!
With Compassion,
The President of France, Pengwinja.

To France - It is true, the involvement of a third party can complicate things. I hope the English diplomat will see reason and agree to a bounce as well. I would also consider giving Belgium to England, to keep us all balanced at 5 centers.

And wargaming is quite droll, I do recommend it. Though it requires a certain type of mind…

To the Kaiser,
I fear the British more than you may, so I would be more leaning against them getting Belgium (No offense, England).
I guess I will try Kriegspiel, it couldn’t hurt to try, Right?
Right?
Drowning in Angst,
The President of France, Pengwinja.

Hello everyone! I speak on behalf of the Emperor of Austria, that we wish to survive the often tumultuous early game Austria ends to have. May we have peace and an equitable distribution of supply centers!

Hello! The Czar of Russia is here himself, what a surprise! Maybe in the year of 1903 Franz Ferdinand the promising prince and future of Austria will be here! An alliance between the two of us would be most welcome

To the Kaiser:
We don’t have much to coordinate on for this turn, however I would be open to working with you later on!

To the French:
We have a common adjacent territory in the English Channel, however if we could DMZ that, I think that would be great for us in the future

Maybe us three don’t have to fight like always after all!

To the Czar, I think for Scandinavia it would be beneficial if we stayed out of Norway/Sweden respectively. I could take Norway and you Sweden, avoiding conflict!

I see no reason why Tyrolia should be occupied, we agree to a DMZ, I think its wise for all of us to keep a neutral footing with all the powers that we can for as long as we can. These will be the goals of Austria

Ok from henceforth until 1903 Austria shall be oficially represented by the diplomat
