Kak, before you vote Bunny, what's your opinion on the no mafia kills so far.
This is the question.

My personal thoughts tend towards clearing kaka and Jamie. Implicating rdr and ghug. Possibly implicating Flum and sweet.

##VOTE Flum

Kak also loses some stock, though I'm inclined to think he's be a little less willing to do that as scum.
Why. I literally can’t tell if you understand what happened or not.

##Vote Just

##END
This one is the worst, methinks. Flum doesn't explain and doesn't seem to be taking joy in trolling, which is the main justification I can see.
The fact you don't get it makes me think it might have to be you and Rdr, but no one else commenting on it is confusing me a little too.
This.

There’s also a very good chance ghug is town that doesn’t get it. Scum!Ghug wouldn’t have not asked worcej what’s up over discord.

well, I just put a vote on bunny, but for what I think for the no kills, this is definitely a mafia team that knows their stuff. I mean, ok, looking at the survivors, that would fit everyone. Still, I think both came to the same conclusion as me, try to get into the towncore and use the shot as late as possible. And I also think no real communication has happend between the two about it.

Well, maybe I'm wrong, and it might be a good idea to look back if something like that happened. But right now, thinking back, I'm pretty sure there was none.

also, we are 5-2 now. If we get one more wrong, it will be 3-2 tomorrow. So we have one more misvote left. Make this one count.
If we get one wrong, it's 4-2, and then we do have to speedhammer.

Ok you failed. I'm curious what Bunny, Sweet, and Jamie think.
I'm curious why you think Kak "failed" in this post.

Certainly I agree with this part of his post.
I think holstering only makes sense if scum is clearly safe. If there’s a chance they die, gotta shoot.

I’d expect both of them to holster day 2 to get us continuing to go after rdr. Which they’re pushing hard.

Wrong. Only one vig shot is allowed per day. Do you see it now?
yeah, one shot ber day, but day and vote is simultaniously, no? so if we vote wrong, a 5-2 gets to a 3-2 the next day.

Or where is my mistake?
Nope - gunshots fired by Mafia adjudicate immediately, not at EOD.
Wait…what?! They adjudicate at EOD. That’s why he has that tree of EOD possibilities.

You drove me off Just with your weird posting.

But now that NOBODY entered scum kill orders…

##vote Just ##end
This appears to be predicated on a faulty understanding of the setup. Would Bunny really sell out for this kill as scum?
I’m what way do you think I misunderstood?

Only one scum gun can go off.

First one to submit to worcej is the one that goes off.

If Just had been scum, and likely to die day 1, his partner would have wanted to be sure that Just’s gun shot.

Where do you not follow this logic?
I read it as you were expecting a second death at EoD, which is not how the game works.

Maybe I misunderstood the wording, I thought it would put the shot in but only work at the end of the day.

##askGM: is the mafia bullet adjucated as soon as as possible, or is it saved until the end of the day? For example, if a mafia inserts the order at halfway point of the day, and the GM sees it at that point, would the bullet fly out? Or would it be 'prepared' until the end of the day?

Game Info:
Game Start: Saturday 8/31 @ 2:00 PM (14:00) PST

The game will be 48 hour day phases with no night phases. Standard day voting rules apply - see participation section if more details are needed.

Roles:
2x Mafia 1-Shot Vigilante
7x Vanilla Townies

Setup Intricacies
Unlike normal games, the mafia team does not have the following:
  • A mafia chat - there is no way for mafia to communicate outside of the game thread
  • A mafia faction kill - there is no way for mafia to kill outside of their vig abilities
  • A mafia role block - because you're all boring breakdancers with no special abilities...
For this game, the mafia does have the following:
  • The mafia members will know their teammate - it is listed in their role PM. See the PM example provided by the GM in the next post from this.
  • A mafia member can submit their shot order up until the end of day post (The "Day has ended. Please hold." post).
    1. The GM will do his utmost best to process a day kill ASAP once the order is received via PM, even including it in the day kill post if the order was submitted.
    2. PLEASE NOTE THE GM HIGHLY ENCOURAGES YOU TO USE DISCORD TO PM HIM!!!
  • Only one vigilante shot can be used per day phase, ensuring that at most only 2 players can die per day phase (a vig shot and then the day kill).
    1. The GM will process the first vig order he sees - regardless of timestamps. Again, highly recommend PMing the GM via Discord!
    2. If a shot order is not completed due to the one shot/day rule, the GM will notify the mafia member via PM that their shot was not used and that they still have it for another phase.
No-Kill/Tie Voting Modification if there are no mafia vig shots available
If the scum team has no vigilante shots available, the day phase cannot result in a no-kill vote or tie (because the game state will not progress due to no more scum kills).

In the event a day phase ends in a no kill or tie after all shots have been used, the day kill will be processed by the GM via the following methodology:
  • For a No-kill vote - the player that had the highest vote count at one time during the phase will be killed.
  • For a tied vote - The player that has the oldest vote placed on them by another player will be killed.
Fringe case situations and processing are listed below:
  • For a situation where the no-kill vote was the result and the highest vote count at one time is tied, the tiebreaker will be which of the players had the first vote placed on them.
  • For a situation where literally the only thing that happens is a vote for No-Kill and no votes for other players are cast, the person with the highest post count will be killed.
  • For a situation where literally everyone only posts "##vote No-Kill" and the phase ends with everyone at 1 post total, the First person who posted the No-Kill vote will be killed.
Minimum Participation:
Players must place a valid vote, this includes no-kill. Unvote will be considered as a no-kill vote. Players must at least post once per phase and that post must be a vote. Failure to meet the minimum participation will result in automatic substitution - No exceptions.

Player List - in no particular order:
JustAnImpostorNamedWill
Kakarroto
Hearthrob
Fluminator
Jamiet99uk
Sweetandcool
Rdrivera2005
TheMadMonarch
BunnyGo

Game will begin today at 2 PM PST. Role DMs will go out approximately 1 hour before game start.

PLEASE DO NOT POST.
These rules in post one are pretty clear.

Mafia bullets are adjudicated ASAP, mostly dependent on when I see the order. They are not saved until EOD.

In your example, yes the bullet would fly out.

I need to reconsider. But I think someone day 2 knew I was wrong and played along. My logic was also highly influenced by ONLY resolving gunshots at EOD, which isn’t a thing…so I need to reconsider.

Flum and sweet look bad.

Rdr looks rdr. And I hate that look.

Kaka and Jamie look towny. You (ghug…) look towny-ish for trying hard to miskill me again.
