Phone just deleted a long post ):

In summary, I think Kak knows the setup and knows his schtick with me would make me look bad if he flips Mafia. Like he is secretly communicating with a teammate.

On the flip side, I am totally against voting someone who is actually playing the game. And I am not sure of his alignment anyways.

I forgot what I was going to say about Jamiet.

rdr is impossibly null at the moment, but apparently that will change in future phases.

Flum always posts some pretty provocative stuff, so NAI.

Hate Mad Monarch's opening.
that's reason 529 why I not play on phones. rip post

fair thought about me, I could easily do this (or try at least) if I were mafia, and I've done (or tried at least) something in past games to connect maf-me to a town player (like in the Hexenjäger game with ghug ... though I failed miserably and we lost).

Though for the second thing, I'd probably not try to communicate in secret here, just to not risk tying me to the other mafia. That's also why I usually hardbus when I'm mafia, to distance myself as much as possible.

My thoughts drift into the same direction, though I'd think RD looks better than null to me. I wish you remember what you thought about jamie, or at least add what you think about jamie now

Yeah. I saw them online during the intermission of the play. Spoiler: the plant eats everything!

I'm not sure what's going on, but I will try to get to the bottom of it. Can we try and attack me from different angles until then?
disregarding any on/off line things, you seem to mostly post when you get voted or have vote pressure on you; while defending yourself isn't inherently mafia-like, it being most of your posts is usually a good sign that the target is mafia.

How about you share more of your thoughts, you should've read the game so far that you have at least some opinion of people:

1) Who do you think is more likely mafia, and how would you rate the likelyhood of being mafia of each of sweetandcool, Jamiet99uk and Fluminator?

2) If you had an ingame gun with one single bullet right now, who would you shoot: Hearthrob, JustAnImpostorNamedWill or rdrivera2005?

3) Who are the three most likely town in your opinion, in random order without revealing who looks more towny to you (except you of course)?

Well...do you have a joke? Something insightful? Do you make anything of these concerns of ours?
Now that I think of it, you're the only representative from Australia.

Are you Raygun?

I doubt worcej would do this intentionally, but if it happened coincidently, that would be really funny

I doubt this. Darg pinged everybody on Discord. Suspect.
I was never pinged, and I searched the discord and still can't find it.

Anyway, I'm catching up soon, I have the entire day open tomorrow. It's the long weekend in Canada and I've been out on the lake. I wasn't expecting the game to start now lol.
yeah, I give you the start date was a bit unusual, but bunny was doing some outdoors stuff (or something?) before, and worcej had to schedule and reschedule some business date, so it kinda got messy.

Update: I was pinged on my old discord account lol. Okay oops, moving on. None of that is alignment indicative anyway.
that's why you keep your different discord accounts on different browsers and in different communities

#172 Post by Kakarroto » Mon Sep 02, 2024 7:36 am

hmm, hmm hm.

so far I wouldn't want to vote for bunny, flum and RD today, even when there is a small voice in my head that's telling me bunny might be mafia trying to buddy me here. But that's something to explore on day 3 or 4, if he survives that long. (If you reread this on a later date after my flip, please bring this up in the current thread, whoever glorious player you are.) (Also I might give RD too much credit but I like his logic so far.)

I'm flip flopping on jamie and sweet in my head. Some responses look very fine, other give me a goosebump and my hair stand up. Wouldn't want to sit next to any of those two right now if we were ingame. Probably a mistake to vote for them today though.

heartthrob is missing, so I guess we get a replacement soon? the nullest null who ever nulled.

Then we have our one-post wonder, ImpostorWill. don't like the vote, don't like it only being one post, don't like the small amount of words in it. It could've been just a joke thing, which was kinda stated ("for the meme"), but I don't know, it doesn't look too funny to me.

And then we have MM, who mostly posts defensively, doesn't really react to direct questions, and shows up a lot of times in the bottom of the thread. I mean, could be town, but if so, I have no idea what MM is thinking, other than wanting to remove me. If MM doesn't provide us a lot of thoughts about the game and the other players, I think our best bet is to vote out MM. So, if you are town MM, there is still some time until EoD to give us your opinion and thoughts about the game. I suggest to begin answering the questions I directed at you in my previous posts.

I'll even put them together, just for you, so that you don't have to reread the whole 8 previous pages, if you don't have much time:

@TheMadMonarch: given that you are in a totally different timezone than the rest of us, you'll probably not being here at EoD. But what are your thoughts about the people who posted until now, and what do you think about the people who didn't? Any special things you've noticed that ticked you to someone's alignment in any direction? What do you think about sweetandcool's postings and reactions?

This is a disappointing game.

Several players are completely AWOL.

So far I think most of the posts have been by town. Which is good (so long as I'm correct).

It's too short a game to let this happen.

But also we NEED to hit scum today; that not only saves a miskill, it saves a nightkill...

So: two people have convincingly townslipped so far (it helps I was town reading them anyways).

##Vote just for not having the engagement I'd expect from a friend of kotp in his first game here
Is there a townslip in this post?

There are no night phases.

Can someone give me a quick summary while I read? I'll try to catch up as fast as I can, but just in case I don't make it so I'll be on the latest info, please?

He enjoys playing town more. But I’d enthusiastic about the game and wouldn’t let being scum prevent participating. He was a top poster his last game at work where he was scum.

I’m guessing he doesn’t know the game started. He rarely checks Discord (only joined for this) and rarely webdip (don’t think he’s ever played Diplomacy). Maybe our GM needs to PM him on discord to get his attention?

No. That was just my way of phrasing it. But that was the townslip I was referring to from previously in the thread.

Which two people townslipped in this fashion?

I'm struggling to find any relevant posts using the word "night".

Also, excuse if I'm nit-picking, but if you knew there was no night, and you had used this observation to notice possible town-slips from other people, why would you continue to knowingly use incorrect terminology?
