This is a disappointing game.

Several players are completely AWOL.

So far I think most of the posts have been by town. Which is good (so long as I'm correct).

It's too short a game to let this happen.

Kakias Winkler!" the announcer yelled into the microphone, which then resonated through the hall. At the same time, a catchy song started to play, and the contestant entered the stage.

Highly energetic and with screeching shoes he first run towards it, then slided standingly into the middle. After a short pause in the music, which he timed flawlessly, he then broke his stance and whipped gracefully 180 degree, and caught the floor, just before he hit it with his head, with one arm. He lowered his body a bit more, until his head and arm both touched the floor, then used his other hand to twirl himself around, with his head as the centerpoint, like a human gyroscope.

While spinning, his legs moved to the music, then suddenly he flipped around, touched the floor with one foot, just to land on one hand and pausing there in a handstand, during which the music went silent for a second. Then he hopped on one hand a few times, landed on the head with a last hop, and used the movement to gracefully roll on the floor onto his feet. Just when he was upright again, the music changed dramatically in tone and speed, in which he danced in harmony to it.

Then, with a loud crescendo, the music went silent for a moment again, and he fell onto his hands again. With a last dacapo, he twirled around his hands as the center again, and just when the music a last time stopped, he held a one handed pose.

After it was clear the performance was finished, he stood up and waved towards the audience.

An official with a microphone went to him, and started a short conversation.

"Thank you so much for this performance, it was delightful, Mister Winkler."

"Joa, is a freid hia tsu sei." he answered in a thick accent. "Is a bisl schod dos des nua the Vuarund is, owa is sho guad."

"Very interesting, very interesting" the official said without really understanding him, "are you planning to show any special moves in the next round? Maybe something country specific? Like the kangaroo?"

He laught out, shaking his head. "Naa, owa geh, du bist im foischn Landl, oida, i bin hia vo Östaraich, Austria, waast, not Australia. Wia hobn goa ka kängaruuhs bei uans. Zumiandest ned frailaufand."

Not understanding, the official slowly nodded his head, then said "I see ... I see. Well, thanks again, Mister Winkler, and here we have the jury points for the preliminal round ... ohh, very nice, very nice indeed, 89 points out of 100, I think I have to congratulate again, this should be more enough to qualify for the next round!"

The Austrian represetant raised his hand again, waved and happily yelled to the jury and the audience "Donkschee, donkschee, es woa ma a freid, und a eahre! Mei nächstes wiad vü bessa sei, oiso freids eich drauf! Voi, oida!"

Then the official escorted him to the exit, to make space for the next representant to come onto the stage ...

When I was a young child, a family friend gave me the nickname bloß because he read it in some article about "mit augen bloßen" or something like that and he thought it was funny looking.

When the internet came along and I needed a unique handle online I thought I'd use that childhood nickname that was some random german word that surely nobody would be using as a handle.

Imagine my surprise when I constantly had trouble getting it. Needed to add my birthday or something to ever be able to get it.

Wasn't until I was in college that I bothered looking up what it meant. Imagine my surprise I was competing for the handle with a bunch of German perverts looking for the handle "naked".

In one of my CK2 playthroughs I played as Kazaria to restore Israel.

For the record I just finished grocery shopping, something I hate to do when I should be staying home.

I’m guessing because of clock-lands or zones of time that make it difficult or unlikely to be posting now. Not all our European compatriots are nightowls like you and Jamie.

Yes, we worked closely together for over a year. Not really? He’s very insightful. Quiet when new to a community. He’s played scum capably a couple times. I didn’t catch him in our last game, but the community did with some mech help. He had me fooled to the very end.

Kak did a thing earlier where he put an End vote on Sweet, but didn't provide a real reason for voting Sweet at all (when he voted for Sweet, he posted a lot of semi-gibberish in Austrian or German, which when translated does not contain any reason for voting Sweet). Later, when I asked him why he endvoted, he claimed that he was trying to end the day really early, so that Mafia wouldn't have time to shoot. I said that was odd because he made no attempts to get anyone else onto the Sweet wagon (and his plan would only work if he got other people to join him and also Endvote). In response, he then changed his story, and claimed his Endvote was actually a reaction test. I continued to question him about this and he got angry and shouted at me and refused to answer.

While I don't fully agree on that description about our dialogue being exactly how it happened, I yield to you that it looks plausible that it appeared that way from your perspective. So a bit jamie-coloured, but aside from that not an issue from me, looks quite fair.

I do agree that bunny looks quite townish and that flum looked a bit weird (though that's not really alignment indicative)

regarding MM, I want to add that it looks to me, as if MM is only coming posting into the thread when being voted. Maybe it's just basic defensiveness, but it just doesn't strike me much townish.
