I mean, come on, reacting and quoting just the one small post after my big post where I ask direct questions? Don't tell me you overlooked that one

I opened that to respond to as well, but when I posted the first thing you had a go at me. I felt, at that point, the thoughts I did have (which were about you) would now be coloured by this interaction, and likely not believable.

@TheMadMonarch: given that you are in a totally different timezone than the rest of us, you'll probably not being here at EoD. But what are your thoughts about the people who posted until now, and what do you think about the people who didn't? Any special things you've noticed that ticked you to someone's alignment in any direction? What do you think about sweetandcool's postings and reactions?

...

I think you're suspicious. You've posted way more than anyone else. I know that's bad precedent to suggest, but how I see it is that everyone is a bit out of it since sign ups were so long ago. You having energy now means probably something made you excited, like rolling maf.

I HATE being mafia, and I love being town. Me being excited is a very good sign I rolled town, as well as having high energy. I love being the 'good guy', or at least the presumed good guy (and yeah, town is for me bright green while mafia dark red).

I think you would know me better after some games we played

well, at least this reaction test you passed. So your town stonks are rising (so ever slowly).

Still, if you are town, do something and engage in the game. I know your timezone isn't the best for it, but still, try a bit more, please?

So then, I'll be giving you the benefit of the doubt: so far, disregarding my high energy being mafia, what are your thoughts about the game so far:

1. Reaction test? Really? That's how we're playing this?
2. I started playing, what, 20 minutes ago? Did you not read what I posted?
3. Given the aforementioned 20 minutes, I''ve done relatively a lot of engaging.
4. Can't really disregard it, its the only thing I noticed.

Mate, we are 4 pages in. Nothing of not has happened (other then maybe I got hacked?)

1. what do you have against reaction tests?
2. imagine me not believing you.
3. yes, after you have a vote plus endvote on you
4. what exactly are you refering to here? Oh wait, you mean my high energy? lol, sure, if you insist

yeah, people are not engaging, THAT'S why I'm being proactive and trying to win this game for us. If there is no content, MAKE content. I thought that is quite easy to understand and people should know this principle.

Wow, that worked much better as I thought, team bunny-sweet confirmed 8-)

clip it and ship it ##end
Why end voting at this stage of the game?

Seems very stupid.
first of all, as a long standing member of this community, you must be aware that endvoting does also have an emphasis of on the vote already taken, as a way to 'up the ante', if you excuse my poker-ish.

additionally, as you should be aware as worcej has told us all to read the setup closely, it happens that in this setup, mafia does NOT have nk, and only the first shot entered in ones day does count. Furthermore, each mafia member has only one shot of this ability.

therefore it is just ideal in terms of this game, to remove any mafia before they have even the chance to put in their order. That much should be obvious, and you asking me this question is very perplexing to me.

or, in much simpler terms: Oida, biast dua deppat?
A lot of inconsistency in this post.

In the first paragraph you claim you were only endvoting for emphasis (as Brainbomb enjoys doing, and which I am not a fan of).

Then in the second and third paragraphs you pivot to arguing that you were trying to endhammer the phase so quickly that it would cause D1 to end so fast that the Mafia might fail to order a gunshot in time.

I do not believe that you were actually trying to do the second thing - because for that plan to work, you would need to persuade other people to join you on Sweetandcool, and also place end votes. Nothing you were doing actually appeared to be aimed at creating a genuine wagon on Sweet; far from it. Your post in which you voted for Sweet was written in a foreign language, and you did nothing to encourage additional end votes.
Potato, potato; potato.

I guess I scared MM away. sadge :(

But what I've found interesting in having a look back (to see if MM maybe upvoted any posts ... don't ask why :eyeroll: ), it's curious that jamie did an RD entrance, while RD himself didn't do his typical "hello fellow townspeople and other bad ones" or something like that ...

maybe it was just the late time, but I would like RD to explain when he comes back, why he didn't do this typical thing of his.
"Hello, Fellow Town" is literally my standard entrance.
I got idiotically scumread in a recent game for not doing it.

Reaction tests are the cowards way out of stupid behaviour. I hate them, and I always have.

Last point is fair enough tho. You are forgiven for engaging (but not for being silly).

to take a page out of your book jamie:

WHERE THE EFF DID I EVER SAY 'ONLY ENDVOTING FOR EMPHASIS'!!!

like come on, you yourself are always this meticulous when other take what you say and not pin pointed accurately representing it. But this now just shows your hypocrisy here.

also, to take a page out of ghug's book:

you really believe town can't be inconsistence? Even when it wasn't my utmost very first religious goal to instantly vote sweet out you think my goal wasn't to create a genuine wagon on sweet? Think again! You throwing a lot of shade with bad and wrong statements here.

And, hint hint: just because I'm bad at trying to make others do the things I want them to do doesn't make me mafia. If you are town you have a very bad understanding here, of the situation AND of me.

It's what you said in the first paragraph of your post.

In any case, the second part is more important. You want me to believe that you had a plan to cause a quick-hammer in order to end the day very early and prevent Mafia from getting a shot? Seriously??

Well I don't believe that claim because your actions around the time of your endvote do not in any way suggest you were actually seeking to achieve that outcome.

well, I am silly and I will continue to being silly. I'm the silly, crazy Austrian. I make stupid shit, and I try my best to get reactions out of it.

And even if reaction tests were stupid, you can still get information out of it. And for the hate against it, well, I guess can't change that. I too hate people's behaviour of playing a mafia game and trying to post as few things as possible. So I try my best there to go out and push for more content. Because that's the best way for town to win a game, every time.

PS.: being silly is a lovable trait
