alright, so you are extremely unlikely to change your vote, right yoyo?

In that case, I should push over my potential post limit, to see if mafia successfully muted me.

I had 60 posts yesterday, so with 15 less, I should be not able to post more than 45.

Currently I'm at 37 posts, this should be post 38. I think sweet is sleeping, so he will not be able to confirm or deny it right at this time, I think.

So, just in case you think of moving your vote, since I wont be able to switch if I reach 45 if I'm muted (I know, many if's), tell me you are against this for now, so I keep my ability to sheep you.

Kudos Kak, if that’s what you were trying to confirm. I wanted to withhold my thoughts until we were sure.

post 39

well, every information helps. Especially hard information that removes possibilities.

Like both Flav and myself had 0% chance to be gambler, since we both were over 100 posts on day 3. This is something though I didn't notice at the time, so I wish I found it sooner, or we could've avoided a misvote of Flav.

I also wanted to address this post:

82. Anyhow I’m off to enjoy what’s left of my holiday and my summer.

This is my last mafia game for a long while.

This one’s broken me.
I'm sorry if I pushed you too much. These games should be fun and not make you feel unwell. I hope you'll participate in the final game of this series, since you have won a spot there, and you deserve this. But I understand if you might not want to.

You have done a great job here, Brian, so keep that in mind. There were plenty of people who townread you, you put a great amount of work in here. I'm not sure if you are town or mafia, I think you are more likely to be town here, but in both cases, I think you did good.

So I hope it's just a temporary feeling and to see you soon again.

Let the record show I was at the movies and when I caught up, had voted end before it broke him!

post 40

if I getting muted, I want you to still push kotp to post up to 80+ posts, yoyo.

I mean, maybe it will be too late at that point, but maybe it's just enough. If he doesn't post more, then chances are, that damo is not gambler and is just posing as such. In that case, we should redirect to damo instantly.

Also, if the gambler can make more than one bet on players post count, theoretically, he could be down much lower in his limit.

N0 - 1 bet fail
N1 - 2 bets fail
N2 - 2 bets fail
N3 - 1 bet fail, 1 bet successful (but that's only true if kotp town)

so for every 2 bets failed, the limit is reduced. 80 for the first 2 fails, 70 for 4 fails. 60 for 6 fails.

not even trying to go close is suspicious. Keep that in mind and don't let kotp coast. He's currently on 30 posts, so he has 50 more posts to do to successfully remove him from the possible gambler list. If he doesn't know how to get more posts, he could just do a counted post with a one-sentence statement, like:

"post 40, today I saw a lama" or something simple. Or just snippets from his thoughts about the game. These post doesn't need to have much substance, but knowing this would dramatically help our odds of predicting who's the gambler.

Good morning.

I see Brian got over the Brink of the mute post, AND reached 80. Thank you very much, and well done. That was indeed a nice effort.

That tells me that in case Brian is town, which I leaned to before anyway, was not successfully muted, and my odds of being muted increase, so I will only have 9 posts after this one.

I also see yoyo endvoting, and I don't especially like it. Yoyo, how sure are you that Brian is mafia here? 60%? 80%? 99%?

Anyway, in case Brian is town, that should show him, that I'm not mafia by ending this. Of course, I could pull out the same strategy again, I did something like that before, but the situation was different, I was alone at that time.

So for town-Brian, he should be very much aware who is town not.

anyway, I had an idea when I slept and wanted to ##askGM if it's possible that mafia can make two bets on players vote count at the same night, on different players, on the same player just with different values?
Could you rephrase? I'm not sure what you are asking.

post 41 (waiting until yoyo is back to really lock in my vote in case of me being successfully guessed)

(it might just be kotp hasn't seen the situation right now regarding endvotes, but I'm feeling a bit better to have the correct vote right now. Still, want to keep me being able to vote, just in case.)

So, yoyo, if you are 100% locked in, tell me. I'll wait until then to go over the potential mute level.

Well, a few options, actually.

-) Can gambler bet both bets on the post count for two different people on the same night (for example, D2 Flavius 80 posts, yoyo 30 posts)?

-) Can gambler bet both bets on the post count for the same person on the same night (for example D3 kotp 26 posts, kotp 56 posts) (which would cover a wider range of posts if they wanted to increase the chance to mute one certain individual)?

-) Is gambler allowed to have the same kind of bet at the same day (for example guess the champion, or guess the dayvote, or in the upper examples/questions the post count)?

(also, hope you have/had a good sleep)

Thanks! My sleep has been great, save the occasional worry about friends. Some nice dreams too.

I wouldn’t consider this 100% locked in, but I’m not changing my vote. I’m with you 100% of the way though, Kak!

I’m afraid I’m going to have to stop you there, and ##vote end. No use dragging this on further than it must be, it is hammer time.

Waiting for sweet to process but this should be ggs and game over. Ham, I’m sorry for what this game has put you through, I hope you enjoy your break from mafia and take care.

Well played everyone.

Yeah, I’m sorry Ham. You could maybe convince me that you weren’t mafia in a vacuum, but I just couldn’t parse it out that you were more likely to be town than KOTP. This one’s on me.

In m88 D6 (yes I actually checked past games to confirm) it doesn’t seem to require unanimity, since then it was 5/7 end votes. If it requires a certain percentage or people and I have just thrown…

I’ll just take the L and this will go down as one of the games of all time.
