I’m p sure it’s literally just confident champ and steroids.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 6:56 am

Re: WebMafia Olympics: Bonus Qualification Round
Final few fast thoughts before I leave for dinner:
Damo I think is the obv vote and kill here (steroids), but I almost feel it’s TOO easy. Perhaps a framing? No, bad thoughts. It’s all circular at the end of the day. Damo is a voting option tho.
Confident champ is a weird thing. I don’t discount the possibility but I think it’s pretty unlikely (any answer from sweet abt the holster thing and I’m just blind for kissing it or is a response still out?). Also no motive for it (‘it’ being both holstering D1 & D2, and choosing to use the extra vote D3), but I’m not going to speculate on that. Nothing good comes from it (possibly delves into champ identity).
Also flav regarding your pg 100 post abt notes: I made the Michael bay joke. Also things did happen D1, the whole reaction test fiasco. But regardless, it was mainly poking fun at a mediocre (imho) director who’s movies I’d recently watched (transformers).

Champion DID NOT have two votes D3(or else they would have used it D2 & D1, no?
Mafia can no longer bet on DK...
That means there MUST have been a bet on Post Count & Player's EoD Vote.
They were SUCCESSFUL...
THAT MEANS
kingofthepirates (3)
Yoyoyozo Hamilton Brian Chaqa
Yoyo, Ham OR Chaqa were bet on KOTP, thats the only way this makes sense IF damo did not get drugs.
Or OMG
The Gambler failed that vote and its one of those three.

Re: WebMafia Olympics: Bonus Qualification Round
I don't think you're reading carefully or you're simply responding post by post. Notice I originally had 13 possible pairs, with which I also provided a hierarchy based on my quick readings.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 6:39 amLooks like the common demoninator here is CHAQA.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 8:06 pmFor Chaqa-Flavius, both are on confirmed town on D1. They repeat that wagon on D2. How often will two mafia entertain the exact same wagon from one day to the next? Why would they? It seems...yeah, I am not sure. D3 is where they deviate. Flavius is on town (Brian) while Chaqa is on an unclear.
Right now I am thinking the Chaqa-Damo pair might be more likely than the Chaqa-Flavius pair.
For Chaqa-Dip, we have on D1 both on different confirmed town. For D2 Chaqa is on confirmed town while Dip is on the unclear slot. Day 3 is a complete unknown for either of them based on the tie.
For Chaqa - WillKak we have a repeat of the Chaqa-Dip positioning but somewhat differently. D1 both are on different confirmed town. On D2 Chaqa is on conftown as is WillKak. On D3 a little less clear since Chaqa is on an unclear while WillKak is on me.
Finally the Chaqa-King pairing. King votes Chaqa on D1 which could be a nice easy bus since there's no momentum on Chaqa. Chaqa is on conftown. D2 has chaqa on conftown while King's vote is on a nonclear. D3 King has a vote on no one. I see this pairing as the least likely; mafia do know that they want the miskills and I believe that they will probably let town lead the wagons since they will probably be miskills they don't have to take responsibility for. As mafia, King's vote could have been very important. I think pairing doesn't work. It does cause me to consider King more town than not.
As a hierarchy of most to least mafia pairings, I think I have:
Chaqa-Damo, Chaqa-WillKak, Chaqa-Dip, Chaqa-Flavius, Chaqa-King.
We are now down to 8 possible pairings.
At a count of 7 players we now sit at 5:2...it's not great but it's better than if there had been a miskill for D3.
Mafia reside within this group: Chaqa, Damo, Flavius, King, WillKak

Re: WebMafia Olympics: Bonus Qualification Round
Damo, I see you amended by removing the query I had around the possibility of a vote being removed from the King vote. Are we certain that something couldn't have eliminated a vote from counting?
Re: WebMafia Olympics: Bonus Qualification Round
Yes, had a vote been removed it would have said 2 votes with 3 voters.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 12:40 pmDamo, I see you amended by removing the query I had around the possibility of a vote being removed from the King vote. Re: WebMafia Olympics: Bonus Qualification Round
I hope I managed the HTML alright here.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 8:59 pmHere are the pairs and I will rank them out of 13, with 1/13 being less likely and 13/13 highly likely.
Chaqa-Damo (11/13)Chaqa-Flavius (8/13)Code: Select all
<s>Chaqa-Dip (6/13)</s>
Chaqa-WillKak (7/13)
Chaqa-King (3/13)
Damo-Flavius (10/13)Code: Select all
<s>Dam0-Dip (9/13)</s>
Damo-WillKak (9/13)
Damo-King (2/13)
Code: Select all
<s>Dip-Flavius (3/13)</s>
Code: Select all
<s>Dip-WillKak ( 2/13)</s>
WillKak-King (5/13)Code: Select all
<s>Dip-King (1/13)</s>
Interesting that I kind of determined Dip to be town through the metric of my pairings, as subjective as it is.
Any damo pairing has a higher score except with King, and I really feel like we pressure damo today as a starting point.

Re: WebMafia Olympics: Bonus Qualification Round
Alternatively, Chaqa and Damo are rated pretty highly together.
I think having both on the block today might really be a solid condition.
##VOTE Chaqa
Sorry Chaqa; this is a total 180 from my read of you but I think I am on to something here.
Re-reads of Chaqa, Damo, and Flavius are in high order today, as well as a reread of their interactions with one another.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if whoever the Gambler is didn't actually read the setup.
