There are 3 reasons for the extra vote:
1: The Gambler successfully bet on the identity of the Champion
2: During Night 2, the Drug Dealer chose that damo's vote would be doubled for today (note that damo would have received a pm at EoN in this case)
3. Confident Champion voted twice.

Drug Dealer Power:

Twice per game during the night phase: Gives steroids to any player of their choice. Player’s vote counts as two for the day phase. If the targeted player is the Champion, has a 50/50 chance to die EoN or go into a roid rage dying EoD but also gaining a vigilante shot that must be used.

NOTE: Power cannot be used twice on the same night. Player’s will be notified that they received the steroids, but obviously not the identity of the Drug Dealer.

I'm pretty sure that happened there.

Neither d&w nor damo claimed to receive this. Shouldn't have said during much of the day, but as a info just short at the end of the day would've been the time to reveal.

SO IN CONCLUSION

as there was no claim to receive those, it is very likely that one, if not both, are mafia here.

that means that anyone else up at the time was town.

If the Gambler earns the steroids through betting, they may use the steroids on the following day phase. If they don't use them, they expire.

If the Drug Dealer gives steroids to a player, that player will be under the effect of steroids whether they want to or not.

Steroids make a player's vote count twice rather than once.
