It can definitely also come from town, since a bunch of his reasons for townreading Damo were ok - but it still has a whiff of scum trying to save the driver - the push is really strong, and the quotes that he pulls from damo couldve just as well applied to a ton of the other wagons. Besides that, he did not really pull the 2 most towny quotes from Damo, which is weird. The two that swayed my mind in an instant.

@Vecna, you should really post these two Damo quotes that "swayed your mind in an instant." He is the leading wagon by a good margin. Why wouldn't you post those quotes and "sway everyone else's mind in an instant."

Also, you really think it's "weird" that I thought a player was town based on different reasons than you thinking they were town? Why is that weird? You think that you and I should form the same conclusions for the exact same reasons?

I'm quite confused by what you;re trying to say here. Please explain.

I have some solid townreads and the scumteam could be any 5 of the remainder (barring some pairs I find unlikely).

The scumteam I named were just the least towny imo. It could have been any 5 of 9 really.

I am resigned to getting lynched. It will be a second mislynch but it could be worse for town.

It will be a shame because I am better when there is more to analyse but I won't be there to help. Up to you.

@ Ike - My post about being NK'd may have been a little too light hearted... Balki and Xorxes were (I thought jokingly) fighting over who would be NK'd and I threw in my comment. Both are far more experienced than me (same with Tom and many others) so a true "fear kill" would of course be unlikely on me.

I think I snipped too much as your other main comment was that I have been largely riding on others coat tails... I admit, I feel like I haven't been able to get a great read on anyone including you.

• Do you agree that you were oddly cold and formal in your response to Jamie/Worcej regarding the prior game? Did you really not understand the point Worcej was making?
• What do you think happened at the EOD1? was there a scum save?

I've made multiple attempts to talk about the box, info gained and what's lost from claiming early, strategies to circumvent the negatives, but no one seems to want to talk about it. Damo, Bo, would either of you like to discuss?

I am willing to talk about it. What is your current proposal? I mentioned earlier that I think a box recipient should claim to have had the box 2 days after having had the box such that the box recipient passed it to someone and the box was passed again before claiming... this makes it so that it is possible for the box to be passed back to the original box recipient, but begins to give the rest of town potentially useful information.

I do agree I was cold and formal in my response, but I don't think it's odd. Go read the other parts of the Game and you'll see I've corrected 2 other people on mistakes they've made too. Worcej said something about my game that was incorrect, after my comment he corrected himself. I think there was some confusion on his part when I said everyone was sent a role PM, I should have probably added that some people were sent their flavor in their PM, but he also said that VTs would get a pm at some point later in the game which was incorrect.

As for D1, 3 of the 6 votes ending on Damo and 3 of the 4 votes ending on Demon came more than 2 hours before EOD, at this point THD had 1 vote from Ghug. During those last 2 hours, the Peter wagon and the Ike wagon as well as a few other one vote wagons consolidated on THD. I find it strange that Damo and Demon didnt really have it out for each other, but were perfectly fine hopping in THD to seal the deal. Demon had scum read him before Demon went on some Yav tonal scum slip rant and held his vote on him until the last minutes. Maybe theyre scum together? Damo's self vote could have been a signal to Demon that he was willing to take the fall? I'm not sure.

As for the box, I think we claim it, who we're sending it to, what we got, everything right when it happens. We have a doctor that can save the person passing the box for a day so they can use their item draw. They do have a driver to flop the save to someone else, but if we have the watcher watch the box passer then he would see who the driver was. Scum could drive the box to themselves too, but again, the watcher just needs to watch the box passer. I see it as more beneficial than hurtful to town to have the box claimed, but I could be wrong, the driver complicates things...

My experience playing with Durga several games ago (she was always town) was that she had an uncanny ability to detect scum.

In this game, where is she? What are her opinions?

I've only really been able to gather that she thinks I am scum. Which is not correct, but you all don't know that yet. And she also thinks ND is town and Damo is scum. She hasn't really presented much in the way of rationale for her Damo votes (yesterday and today). She said something to the effect of "he was being defensive," but that is not alignment indicative, and I don't think Durga thinks it is either.

And regarding ND, she seems to be oversimplifying his alignment to such an alarming degree. Basically, if ND says anything coherent, he is town. It cannot be that easy. I have played with ND as both alignments, and that's not my experience. I'm having a hard time believing that the arguments Durga is presenting are from town Durga.

Nobody else seems to have much suspicion of Durga, so I may be off course here. Would somebody please explain where I have gone wrong and steer me back to the road of truth?

I don't think this is a correct description of my play, but in any event:

Town reads on Bozo and Squigs. I also feel pretty good about xorxes and damo.

Further supporting this, Damo has tried to start a wagon for me today, I assume that he's trying to draw support from the wagon on me yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised to see him vote Peter or ND either as they had small wagons as well. Demon is yet to be heard from today, maybe he's trying to lay low for a while and let Damo take the hit today since he has so many votes already?
