Szpoti!! I noticed that you ended up on no-lynch D1. That does not hold. Start voting now and give me a list of your top 5 scum reads. Until then ##Vote Szpoti.

Oh snap. Maybe I need to do some snapping. Change the monologue. This is the level huh.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
I do like this post. But probably mostly because I know what jocularity means after looking it up the first time around.xorxes wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 1:08 pmThe typo was clearly a scumslip.
I will give you the benefit of the doubt on that since you're new, but I need concrete reads about concrete players. So far every time someone has asked you something you have responded with evasives and jocularity. You are obviously a smart person, so you must have some opinion about someone at this stage.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Or to give you that wifom defence. Although that seems far-fetched. Almost as far-fetched as to think that scum needs to nightkill someone to push your lynch through. It would be the simplest thing, whether Tom is around or not.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Still waffling. its probably like a US presidential race levels of close.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:03 amI am not caught up. But go Seahawks!
Vecna, have you responded to me? I asked you for your current view on my alignment. I’d like to see as much detail as you have time for. My apologies if you’ve already responded.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Hmmm normally were at least somewhat on the same page. Not really blending with this whatsoever. But then again, maybe ive made some wrong assumptions somewhere. Yav has not been impressive.xorxes wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:23 amOK, so right now it's looking like the scumteam is Szpoti+Yavu+ND+(DrCJG|Ike)+some hidden fifth element.
I'm keeping my vote on Szpoti for now, but I can be easily persuaded to switch to one of the others if they have more traction.
If someone wants me to vote for RHK they will need to convince me first that Yavu is town, as I don't see RHK as scum with Yavu.
If someone wants me to vote for flash I need to be convinced first that both Yavu and ND are town, as I think it's unlikely that flash would be scum with either of them.
If someone wants me to vote for peterlund they need to convince me that Szpoti is town, and that's going to be hard.
If someone wants me to vote for anyone else they will need an extremely convincing case, like a guilty scan or something.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Interesting that both Bo and Durga feel the same way.Durga wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:36 amThis is the most out of touch post I've ever seen from you.xorxes wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:23 amOK, so right now it's looking like the scumteam is Szpoti+Yavu+ND+(DrCJG|Ike)+some hidden fifth element.

Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Can you explain to me why Yav is town if you disregard the stuff surrounding his slip and how he responded to it? Comparing the play, with some detail, to have you make this statement?
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Aye.....this post I can meld with a lot more. A cop use on ND at some random moment could potentially save us from disaster (or not, with a fucking driver and all that other crap they have).xorxes wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:54 amND is completely different from last game. That doesn't tell us much because he always tries to change the way he plays as scum. This game he does look like he is trying, but I'm sure he is capable of faking that. I'm happy to let him be for now if nobody else shares my read.
How is Yavu different from last game? When he is town he shows much more conviction about his gut reads.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Pushing where I wouldve been pushing if I were around. Good. Maybe ill sheep Xorxes today.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Standard D1 clusterfuck. People fought Jamiet. Jamiet did the same thing he did in the first fantasy sim and flipped out at BB over nothing, and is gone-gone. Most unusual event was that Balki made a very big push to stop the leading Damo wagon, and pushed it onto some other dude by being very wordsy. He was invested. Might still mean nothing. I did something experimental and sheeped Ghug before leaving for the night. For some reason, everyone else followed. Not recommended for a repeat.Ezio wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 2:13 amOOh actually. This gives me a chance to do something fun.
@Xorxes
@Ghug
@Durga
@Balki
@Vecna
@RDrivera
How's about y'all tell me what happened D1/N1. I'd love to hear your interpretation of the events, and then I go read it. Also it helps I don't have time right now.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
No. 'If pushed' I said, I don't have detail.
In fact following Vecna's series of posts I remove him. IAnd replace with - I dunno Peter?
The problem I have is I'm townreading too many people.
I suppose this implies scum are good.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
That post is what made me townread peter actually.Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:55 amI also really do not like this postpeterlund wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 6:53 amNKing Tom was "unexpected" to say the least. Bozo. Interesting EOD analysis. Your option 3 is interesting, I was basically townclears good Balki. Maybe a tad less strongly now.
You say a lynch of me would be informative. I've as near as dammit outed myself as VT, if I am lynched and I flip as such what will you glean? Will you be any further forward in determining Balki's alignment? Or anyone else's for that matter.
In fact I'll throw it open to everyone.
If I am lynched and flip town what would you derive?

Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
As I pointed out, Balki was not the only one who voted for thdfrance to prevent your lynch. With so many players either voting thdfrance as an alternative to you, or voting for you, finding out your alignment would help determine potential motives for these votes. However, I would not advocate lynching you if I knew you would flip town.damo666 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 11:04 amBozo. Interesting EOD analysis. Why do you say you outed yourself as VT? Is that what you meant by your self vote? If that is what you wanted to get across, why not just say you were VT and would not be claiming a PR at EOD?
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
That's unfortunate. Now I'm definitely dead tonight unless we lynch him first.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Bozo - yes, by voting for myself. I thought that much stronger than simply saying 'I'm a VT'.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
I will obv town d4 and never before that.
Re: Mafia XL - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
What does that actually mean Durga? Do you mean declaring yourself as town? If so, not even under extreme pressure?
