Like I get missing some of the game due to RL stuff - I was out Eod1 bc something came up - but when you sign up for a game you make a commitment to either play or sub out, and you haven't been doing much of the first.

Good question. I DISAGREE, if Gambler fails on anything BUT the identity of the DK target and the postcount, THEN they reveal themselves or die . IMO this is going to be a game filled with DK's and few NK's.
From the doc:
Bet on Champion Identity:
Success: Gain a use of steroids and immunity from DK for the following day phase. Will not be able to make this bet again.
Failure: Dies end of next night phase.
NOTE: This bet resolves End of Night. That is, Gambler will be notified of the outcome when night ends.
Bet on Identity of DK Target:
Success: Immunity from DK for the following phase. After two successes cannot make this bet anymore.
Failure: Mafia loses the NK for a phase.
NOTE: This bet resolves End of Day. The Immunity from DK is activated for the following phase.
Bet on Player’s Post Count for the Day:
Success: If exactly correct, can set a post limit of their choice that the targeted player must follow for the following phase. That player will not be aware of the post limit set upon themself (unless that limit is zero in which case the player will be informed EoN that they are muted for the phase). If their guess is within 15 posts, they can limit the player's post count the following day to 15 less than the current day's post count.
Failure: Every two failures will reduce the Gambler's post count limit by 10. First, a limit of 80 posts will be established. Then after two more failures the limit will be 70, then after two more it will be 60, and so on.
NOTE: This bet resolves end of day and its effect activates the next day phase.
Bet on Player’s EoD Vote:
Success: Target Player’s vote does not count.
Failure: Gambler’s vote does not count.
NOTE: This bet resolves and its effect activates end of day.
it seems like it would only identify that one of the players on the wagon of the gambler either got successfullly eod vote-betted or is the gambler
##call gm
what happens if the drug dealer doubles the gambler's vote but the gambler loses a bet on who someone else will vote for at EoD?

This is going to seem like a small thing, but this post by itself is enough for me to town read Hamilton. I've been pretty disengaged from the game due to IRL stuff (having a newborn is way more time consuming than expected lol) and he's the first person to mention me in a bit. I think mafia would be okay letting me fester and be suspicious, whereas Hamilton views me as a good wagon.
I'd like to did deeper into that mafia psychology that would be ok with an invisible Chaqa linger around.

Every game I've played with damo so far he's always done something CRAZY and turned up town. Maybe he'll turn up scum this time around but no way hosay am I voting damo for his ONE crazy thing.
When he's scum, he'll often make very bold scum-motivated moves in the moment and then try to invent justification for them later.
The switch off Yoyo feels like the latter, but I'm also feeling the former in everything else he's saying.

That's funny because your timing wasn't in that critical condition; there was time to assess.
You originally stated that you believed there was scum in the 3 wagons of Haze, Will, and Flavius. What do you believe now?
You actually addressed voting Haze and yoyo both in your "reads" post, so good for you for sticking to it, I guess. However there was no indication about "why" for either one. Why not?
Your votes came without qualification, as though you weren't convinced about either one.
I am frustrated because both you and jamie have been passive-aggressively criticizing everyone.
I get that you're trying to find scum, but you're doing it in a way that isn't cooperative at all.
I feel like I am being gaslit here.
You can't have it both ways Dip.
What motivation do you have to declare me scum BUT AT THE SAME TIME hunting scum?
How does that even make sense?
What is your motivation?

Maybe it’s something I naturally do. I don’t recall ever playing with kotp so I don’t know if they’re new or not. I’m definitely not above explaining parts of the game, and I’ve done so before. I think this is beneficial overall, not that he ever came off as clueless. Just some mechanics are specific to certain setups so it’s hard to keep track of what to pay attention to.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2024 9:18 pmI know I get wrapped up in my own tinfoil head most of the time but this seems like some coaching from yoyo.
