I also don't buy any of the arguments on Spzotoiitio. Who was clearly lost in this game from beginning to end, and the night phase didn't seem to change that.

Yeah that Xorxes post really felt like a cookie cutter, see what sticks to the wall kind of thing, or playing to last game. Didn't add up for me.

How can you, having played with ND and yavuz as scum in the last game, actually scum read them in this game? I'm baffled.
ND is completely different from last game. That doesn't tell us much because he always tries to change the way he plays as scum. This game he does look like he is trying, but I'm sure he is capable of faking that. I'm happy to let him be for now if nobody else shares my read.

How is Yavu different from last game? When he is town he shows much more conviction about his gut reads.

One of the priests shrugs, "If we had more +1s, it would be more clear."

Just over 20 hours remain in Day 2!

Do you think he's just mentally incapable of stating an opinion on anyone?

I am pleased to hear your confidence. Can you sum up your reasons for suspecting that scum team. (Sorry, I am not caught up)
Everyone I didn't mention has given me at least some town vibes.

Of those left, that's the combo that makes the most sense and is most consistent with everything that has been going on.

Okay

-To reiterate my previous point. Yes, the box is important. Now, is not the time though to discuss it. There are less than 24 hours in the phase and most people aren't even talking. It's inactive and that doesn't help. More discussion is needed. More scumhunting.
-@Damo, if your town, which I am skeptical about, tell me and explain to me your top reads.
-@Flash, I explained why I thought you (Jamie) were scum at EON. Are you reading the game? Tell me, how did your vote just so happen to magically land on thd after you entered the game? The wagon just so happens to be (imo) the most inorganic wagon ever. How did you come to decide upon thd. How much of this have you read? Explain to me your perspective on the game.
I assume 'your' means 'you're'. My top reads are Balki, worcej, ghug and Xorxes who are imo all town and all for the same reason in that they said they thought the wagon on me was a mistake. I cannot see them doing it as scum.

If pushed to name a scum team it would be Squigs, Vecna, RagingIke, Yav and Szpoti. Squigs in particular seems not his usual self.

Can you go into detail on those five scumreads without looking at what xorxes said?

I think yav is town. Way different. Szpoti is a wildcard possibility as I said in eonpost.

How's about y'all tell me what happened D1/N1. I'd love to hear your interpretation of the events, and then I go read it. Also it helps I don't have time right now.

I don't see Yav as scum. It's hard to say exactly, but I almost feel like it's night and day between his play this game and last game. My gut tells me town.

@Ezio: Cool, so you just pick a few people ask what their thoughts on the game are and then you 'read' the game and compare notes. That's cool.

I went through the sequence EOD1 that resulted in thdfrance getting lynched over damo. I voted for damo 57 minutes before EOD, which put him up by 2 over thdfrance and DemonRHK at 6-4-4. damo then voted for himself ten minutes later to make the vote 7-4-4. At 42 minutes before EOD, Balki posted his defense of damo. At 33 minutes before EOD, Balki voted for thdfrance, with a strong scum read:

##vote thdfrance

I just read his ISO. My impression is that he is flinging shade all over the thread in a way that scum often do. Look around for things to call people on. It is subtly different than most town process -- which involves more town reads and more puzzling. Hard to explain, that one.

But he flings shade at Ike. He flings shade at Damo. He flings shade at Jamiet. He flings shade at xorxes. He flings shade at me. Never much of a defense or a town read of anyone.

Looks a lot like scum to me.

And the kicker for me is that ghug started that wagon. If ghug is town, I respect his view. If ghug is scum, ghug is such a consistent busser! Being with ghug on Day 1 is a good place to be.
In the last 30 minutes, the critical votes that swung the lynch from damo to thdfrance came from worcej, flash, and DrCJG:

DAMO666 LOOKS LIKE TOWN TO ME
Taking all the content out of Balki's post because this point is all I need - I agree with this. Damo is behaving exactly the same as he did when DrCJG and I pushed him to be lynched on D1.

I don't think he is playing any different than normal, he always unvotes a lot instead of just moving it.

Since the wagons are consolidating, I am going with ##vote thd. My main scum read is still Ike, but thd's votes have been somewhat meh due to little reason/explanation (none for Ike and Demon is a 'I think damo or him are scum' with no substance).

If I have to make a choice here.

##VOTE thdfrance
DrCJG wrote:

There I go adding spaces after the hashtag again...

anyway ##VOTE Thd... rather him than Damo
worcej and DrCJG both specifically said they were picking thdfrance over damo, and I believe flash was implying it.

The last two votes for thdfrance came from his counterwagons, DemonRHK and damo.

I think the EOD voting and reasons given for the votes clearly show that thdfrance was lynched to save damo, the question is why.

I do not think it is likely that a scum Balki would defend a scum damo that blatantly, so I think any of the other combination are more likely:
1. Balki is town and is wrong about damo
2. Balki is town and is right about damo
3. Balki is scum defending a town damo to look good if damo flipped

I find it interesting that all of the voters who made their choice in the last 30 minutes preferred to lynch thdfrance over damo (except thdfrance, who voted for damo during this time).

It seems to me that there is a good chance there was scum effort in saving damo, which contributes to the suspicion I already had of damo D1. In any case, I think a damo lynch would be informative.

OK, so right now it's looking like the scumteam is Szpoti+Yavu+ND+(DrCJG|Ike)+some hidden fifth element.
What did I do to make you say this. What's your reasoning here?
DrCJG wrote:

No... I will definitely be fearkilled... this is my first game as town after 4 scum games... and I am just too much of a wildcard.
I haven't seen that post until Ike's post. That's like a scum doesn't know how to make a post. A scum who doesn't find anything to write and writes this in order to only make posts.
