I thought this was him being sarcastic ? Do you ACTUALLY think this is a townslip cause I dont think so
I do in fact.

I think you may have townslipped too.
I agree about the HB one.

I think Haze is likely snowing us that he doesn't see it too.

I don't see what you see about Flav.
Know whats interesting... you didnt see the N0 either

Heres something...I think its entirely possible that scum didnt even see the role PM before the game even started and so didnt get a chance to even use N0, and there is such a long list of people who didnt know about N0 now that its not even a believable townslip anymore, its a feather in the cap to those who didnt know about it...myself included

##call gm

Hi this may be a really stupid question but if the gambler bets on themself how would that interact with the target?
The gambler is the target?
It's fairly obvious how this ends up working
for example, if the gambler bets on themself voting for someone, their vote won't work if they vote for that person, and it also won't work if they vote for someone else
I think you're right about ##vote Haze
I DONT, any changed opinions after what more has been said about him? Youve been a little light on the contributions

No strong reads but I suspect there is (at least) one scum in top 3 wagons.
Do you mean 1 scum within the top three wagons (Haze, Will, Flavius)? Or 1 scum voting on 1 of those 3 wagons (Bunny, Dip, Will, Haze, yourself, king, or Jamie)?
The former

That's exactly what the actual Gambler would say.

Claiming not to be a specific scum role is not very useful really, is it Brian?
That isnt [/b] what he meant tho, he meant that if [/b] he was Gambler he would not be using [/b] the role because its a high risk [/b] high reward type person
Bunny
Ah.

I see, but I think that's just Flavius' use of language and intent rather than saying that's the only possible bet.

Can anyone else validate my thinking here?

Will has outright said that he tried to set a reaction test trap for me, based on knowing that the Gambler's Role PM was different to the Gambler rules described in the Setup Document.

How can anyone know there would be a difference between those two things UNLESS THEY ARE SCUM?
Agreed. My vote stays on Will unless he comes up with an explanation. Makes no sense to me.

I DONT, any changed opinions after what more has been said about him? Youve been a little light on the contributions
Having read a stream of Haze's posts when he came back, they struck me as entirely focused on:

1) mechs/should we talk about mechs
2) why voting him is dumb and bad and d&w should feel bad for being dumb about voting him

At a gut level, I don't want to townread Haze for this.

But I'm trying to consider if that's something town!Haze would do.

It just seems SO brazen of a thing for Will to do I dont think it makes sense to vote for him for this. I doubt there even IS a difference TBH

Flavius, what do your reads look like so far? On read through, I see you making lots of comments on play and others reads. I like how you’re grilling some people for their votes (granted you do these in most if not all your games so NIA…). But I don’t see any reads of your own. Perhaps this is just me not reading deep enough, or missing smth in your posts, but I don’t really see any concrete reads of town/scum. The most I could pick out is a sus on chaqa that you seem to have taken back?

Hamilton, Haze & Will are my townreads rn, I cant vote for Chaqa rn there just isnt ENOUGH to do it on, If I feel like I cant find anything on anyone else I'll vote him as a pressure vote but RN Im looking at the 4 Haze voters I think one of them is a scum

I've been trying to reassess now that we have some more to read.

HB, Just, d&w, kotp are my gut read town.

damo, jamie, ghug are next level down above null.

chaqa is chaqa null.

Flav, yoyo, Haze are left as PoE.

Yoyo has done nothing memorable except an offputting first post.

Haze's recent posts after pressure did not impress; continued to talk mechs and whether we should talk mechs and whether people are dumb for voting him.

Flav is reminiscent of my most recent game with him where he was scum.

But I'd just started a reread before falling asleep that may change my mind.

It's weird if scum. Doesn't rise to buddying. But didn't change the conversation; this post then went right back to the rest of what I described.

I use to capitalize stuff for emphasis but bolding isnt that big of a deal even in a certain light you cant even see it
It's a schtick. I don't like schticks.

It may be my own fault that I am incapable of reading as if there were no boldness, bit alas it's how I am. If you were willing to talk like a normal person, that would be nice. If not, my priority may be removing the distraction so I can focus on solving.
So instead of solving you would rather vote for people who annoy you? Listen I find it helpful for me it centers on what I am trying to focus on, and its how I am talking with the voice in my head. Its not that big of a distraction, its just emphasis
But you don't need to use emphasis in every single post. It just undervalues it. By all means emphasise where necessary but its overuse is irritating in the extreme. Reading your posts makes one shout in your head. You really need to grow out of this adolescent habit.
