I imagine I won’t be casting anymore votes today except a possible END vote. But we’ll see.

This post is mostly for convincing anyone on the fence.

I feel pretty strongly that it is still in town's benefit to kill more than one person. We are at 5 town to 2 mafia. If we kill 1 person and are wrong, then is is true that we would then have another day tomorrow at 3 town, 2 mafia to make another choice. However:
1. In that world, we will have lost two town members to attrition (likely Eden in the nightkill, if I had to guess)
2. It decreases town voting power from 71.43% to 60%. That may not be an astronomical drop, but with the potential for multiple votes, it means that town's total vote power drops from a theoretical 30 votes (assuming no one would self-vote) to mafia's 12, to town having 12 votes to mafia's 8. This really showcases how severe we suffer if we do this plan.

In the single-elimination plan, town gets large influence over one kill and medium influence over a second kill.

So what advantage does multiple vote get us?

Town gets large influence over 2-3 kills.

We could miskill 1 person today and still miskill again tomorrow and lose.

So we should try to kill as many as we can now when we have more hands on the steering wheel.

This is the same obviously good for town plan that Damo ruined yesterday.

I believe the town to be myself, Eden, and Glitter, for sure.

Damo is 95% scum. The 5% is to account for the fact that sometimes Damo makes really bad choices as town.

I believe Will makes the most sense as the other mafia.

Flavius is probably town. TheFlyingBoat, I'm honestly not sure, but I feel worse about Damo and Will than him.

So my proposal is we kill, at minimum, Damo and Will.

I am also willing to try to make this a 3-kill, but as with yesterday, mafia can certainly fuck with that.

The important part is solidifying on two and then figuring out how to make 3 work. If we put our top two at least 2 ahead of any possible #3, we guarantee the double kill against any shenanigans.

I think we need GlitterBomb’s votes on damo and Will to guarantee that goes through.

And just in general, I’m a little sketched out by how Will is keeping his options open here, and by the possibility that he and damo might stir up enough paranoia around Chaqa or TFB to mess this up. A 3-vote margin is pretty safe from shenanigans, a 2-vote margin is okay, but if we accidentally end up with just 1 vote behind the lead wagons, damo and Will can coordinate to push it over the top. For this reason I think we should abandon the triple kill pipe dream and just stick to Will and damo.

That said, I’m willing to listen to good ideas to make the triple kill reliable. It just seems like there are too many moving parts here.

Also, Glitter, don’t take that as me telling you that you must vote for damo/Will. I think it’s definitely the right move, but I’m just reasoning things out from the standpoint of the double-kill coalition. If you have doubts about those two, I’m happy to hash them out tomorrow.

Agreed. That vote from Will woke me up to the reality that arranging a triple kill here is simply not possible. It also makes me more confident that we have the right wagons in Damo and Will and they're panicking hard.
