First off fisch was barely an MK he was AFK from the thread and the game as a whole , 90% chance that isnt going to change . So it actually got a us a free NK which we can use to discern who was mafia and why they would want to kill worcej, its perfectTheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:14 pmIt was a terrible idea because it cost us an available mk. It was actively scum sided behaviorFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:02 pmI know fisch turned up town but it wasnt a bad idea just killing him either. He was basically AFK and it resets the day back to homeostasis, nothing essentially changes and we get essentially a double D1 with a single NK.

Then kill me if you arent sure on damoPresident Eden wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:15 pmOh true, it wouldn’t be F5 if we voted only once again.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:13 pmWhat happened to obv scum damo? Like i dont understand why 3 kills is necessary when eveyone just writes damo off as obv scumPresident Eden wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:11 pm
How’s that? We go to F3 with three of me/Chaqa/TFB/Glitter left. Then we know for sure it was a deep scum.
If we only kill one and miss, then we head into F5 with two of you/Flav/damo alive, plus three of me/Chaqa/TFB/Glitter. That seems way harder to resolve than just F3 with three of me/Chaqa/TFB/Glitter.
I guess I’m concerned that we won’t lol.

You could call it WIFOM but guess what we have MULTIPLE kills we can use so we can scattershot it, we go with some kills that worcej wanted and some kills he didnt want, mafia are now open

We’ve done a lot of planning to optimize the number of kills and minimize contingencies and all and that’s great, but I’m like 90% sure it’s just Flav and damo here.

I’m gonna hold off on voting Will for now because we don’t need my vote for the triple kill until we clearly establish consensus from TFB/Chaqa/Glitter/me. Chaqa and Glitter in particular haven’t actually weighed in on the triple kill plan, and it needs consensus from us four to work.

No I meant it cost us a no slot. We don’t get three mks anymore. We only get twoFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:15 pmFirst off fisch was barely an MK he was AFK from the thread and the game as a whole , 90% chance that isnt going to change . I think you are falling prey to the same thing you said I was falling prey too. Bad move =/= scum move. In fact I dont think what fischl did was a bad move I think the multi kill idea isnt a something that needs to be triggered every single day.
IN FACT
Because of what damo did we now get a perfect opportunity to use the multi-kill day to our advantage .

uhhh what? If two people died D1, and both were MKs(highly likely) then we would be down to 2 MKs? What you say makes no senseTheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:21 pmNo I meant it cost us a no slot. We don’t get three mks anymore. Bad idea, and a triple kill might not be a bad idea either . Your votes should happen across the dayJustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:26 pmIm just not going to vote until the end of the day tbh. Im not having a triple kill

The damo wagon didnt make sense from the beginning . Multiple people voted him because they didnt understand why he placed his votes, and like waiting 5 extra mintues for damo to explain it (or someone else like me!) would have allayed their concerns.

By the way if you remember, damo said "oh ill be on for the next 30 mintues BTW" after he placed his votes, so I think maybe just maybe these people didnt want to even listen to damo

Well, you almost certainly shouldn’t want one lol.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:26 pmIm just not going to vote until the end of the day tbh. Im not having a triple kill
I do think killing several here is better than just one, though. And mathematically a triple kill is just better than a double kill if it can be arranged. FYPOV it’s worse because you’re one of the three that would die (and you would probably not die in a double kill).
The way I see it we basically have to hit mafia here to win. It’s not strictly true if we only kill one, but our odds in an F5 of [damo/flav]/you/[three of me/chaqa/tfb/glitter] aren’t great either.

I never did and am not voting for Damo because I don’t understand his votes. Damo is probably my most well explained scum read.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:28 pmThe damo wagon didnt make sense from the beginning . Why is a triple kill better? I feel like the argument is because ‘oh i think damo is scum and i think its one of me and flav as the other’President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:32 pmWell, you almost certainly shouldn’t want one lol.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 11:26 pmIm just not going to vote until the end of the day tbh. But like if the game rides on damo being scum, then kill damo!

Re: WebMafia Olympics - Game #2 - Star Trek TNG: The Republic of Q [GAME THREAD]
Something else to consider is that Final 3 in this scenario is very townsided. Only one of the two townies needs to obvtown for town to win - the obvtown votes both other players and the remaining two players cross-vote.
So a triple kill that hits one mafia is actually very good. We don’t need it to win the game, we just need not to brick completely.
