Anyways, I am feeling much better about salvaging the game if we go with the end vote strategy between my ~core~town~ (Eden, Chaqa, TFB) and flipping the three of Damo, Will, and Flav.

Using the basis of the game being at 5-2, these are the results I see:
  • The 3 of them are all town. We all suck, Damo gets LVP for the game, and we enjoy reading the GT for how dumb we are.
  • Damo is town, but one of Flav/Will is scum. Damo still gets LVP for the game, but it isn’t game over.
  • We get only Damo as scum, duh, but Flav/Will are town. Interesting… game on to KYLO on D3.
  • We get both scum, GG - get rekt scumbros.
I was idly contemplating if shooting Will + Flav and not damo was actually the correct play. (I concluded it wasn’t, but it’s closer than you might think.) Any plan that actually shoots all three is way better IMO.

I feel like I’m missing a step somewhere though. Don’t we have to announce ahead of time when we’re gonna do it, meaning they can be here for it? And we obviously need all four of the survivors among you/me/Boat/Chaqa/Glitter on board.

If we don’t instant win (I think chances are we do insta win) then it means we do get a favorable f3, albeit one I’m probably NKed before.

I wouldn’t be excited for that F3 if it happened, but it would be better than an F4 that has one of damo/Flav/Will in it. Hopefully this plan just wins the game, which I think is a realistic outcome. And it’s definitely better than only shooting two of them, so I’m in.

Still need to know how the mechanics function to keep scum from messing with it though.

Wouldn’t it be better to stagger out the votes rather than meeting at once? Everyone votes END immediately, sure, but then the coalition makes sure to space things out so there’s more time to react to scum manipulation + less notice for scum to meddle in the first place.

Possible, I was more just saying we discuss a time to all be on to coordinate as we make votes as needed.

4 votes on one specific player would end it and it would be suicidal for the last scum to out themselves unless we’re dead wrong and the scum is outside that 3.

Oh, also I didn’t really mention this in the damo wall - but his apathy and just lack of trying to convince anyone that what he did was in town’s best interest are the nails for that coffin.

Also, we can ensure no weird screwing with it by placing damo up to 3 votes first

That way the 2 other scum don’t stack up on the one non-scum

Thinking it through, I think a good plan is setup to be executed. Scum can’t really influence the total enough to cause it all to come crashing down to them winning, they just stall it out and reveal themselves.

I think I am not dying here but if I am, I did my best to help with this idea.

So we run up damo and then the others as we’re ready to end?

Worcej, I really appreciate how you laid everything out. I’m in alignment with you. But I’m super confused and hesitant about this end vote strategy. Not super confident in my understanding of it and if it’s the right approach. Will need more info if not killed!

The crew bedded down for the night. Soft couches were provided, but they still slept uneasily.

As they woke, they noticed one of their number was missing.

WORCEJ has been removed. He was Geordi La Forge, of the CREW.

Day has started. You may post!

@worcej great work but unfortunately you'll just call me LVP.

Unless ofc people wake up and realise I am town who prevented a triple town death.

RIP worc.

I think I need to be walked through the plan again before I lock in anything decisive lol. My understanding is that we want to engineer kills on all 3 of damo/Will/Flav. Right?

In that case, TFB should be voting all 3. I don’t see why sending up only damo first helps.

And I will not vote any of them until he gets all his votes up because the important detail, AFAIK, is to have equal votes on all 3.
